We established Property Assistant in 2014 with our sole aim being to provide a different kind of service when it comes to buying, selling and letting your home. As well as allowing us the freedom to deliver the kind of individual solutions we think everyone deserves, we wanted to challenge the perception of who estate agents are.
We believe that an estate agent is more than just a middle-man and our company ethos is built around providing professional advice with a comprehensive and competent service that delivers what you need and not what we want to sell you.
An independent business, we like to think we do things differently and here’s why:
Impartial advice. The founding principle of Property Assistant was to deliver what clients wanted as well as what they needed. We knew that to build trust, we had to be trustworthy and we could only do that by being wholly impartial. Being independent and offering advice based on your needs (even if it doesn’t suit ours) is the cornerstone of our business.
Experienced professionals. Having worked in the local property markets for many years there are very few scenarios and situations that we haven’t dealt with, and dealt with well. We are practical and focused people and see solutions when other people see problems.
One of the reasons estate agents aren’t trusted is they claim to know more than they do. If we can’t answer a question, we won’t try to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes but we will find you an answer.
Strong work ethic. We work hard to deliver the results our clients want to achieve and go above and beyond to make sure it happens fast and efficiently.
Reasonable and competitive rates. The work we put into every service we provide is reflected in the prices we charge and we know that we provide exceptional value for money.
Real people offering real solutions. We take the time to get to know every client so we understand exactly what they want and what is right for them…and what isn’t. We know that time is precious so we don’t waste anyone’s time offering unsuitable services.

We recently worked with this estate agency as both buyers and sellers, and the experience was excellent on both sides of the chain. Communication was always prompt and open, and Jeremy, the sales progressor, was fantastic at keeping everything moving and making sure everyone stayed informed.

Putting our friendship aside I like to give credit where it's due, and their service was faultless from start to finish. They gave honest and reliable advice all the way through the sale process, securing many viewings, and we were so glad they were on our side when we had to choose from multiple offers. We have just sold our property through Property Assistant. They had the property we were interested in, listed with them so we decided to list ours with PA also. The first property fell through but we decided to stay listed whilst finding another property. It was a lengthy purchase and property assistant found us two buyers during this time. Throughout the process Property Assistant arranged viewings in an organised manner and provided feedback on the 'street' app. Liz was very approachable and friendly. They are a very organised company with Daniel attending all the viewings punctually and personally. He became very knowledgable with the property which assisted potential buyers with any questions.

Buying a house is said to be one of the most stressful things you can do. While this is certainly true, having a team like Property Assistants can make all the difference. They were the agent for the house we were buying and the support with chasing others in the chain, unresponsive solicitors, suggestions for what we could do to keep the chain intact and general advice (not to mention 'talking us down' when we needed it!) was second to none. After trying to sell our property the previous year with another local estate agent, we were very impressed with the fresh approach that Property Assistant offered. Being so local to Woosehill was a big positive as they knew the area so well. After selling our property very quickly, Daniel and Julie offered huge support through the whole process. Unfortunately we had some complications at the bottom of the chain and Julie provided daily updates and dealt with some difficult issues with the upmost professionalism. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were so happy when it all came together. I cannot recommend Property Assistant enough and would not hesitate to use them again - not that we ever plan on moving now we have our new home!

I have to start off by saying thank you, Julie and Daniel. What a great business ethos you and your company have.
I am an ex estate agent of 8 years in Wokingham from about 15 years ago, so I thought I knew what to expect. It was a breath of fresh air dealing with these guys.
I am now living out of the UK so selling a property due to probate was not an easy task. Daniel and Julie made everything as smooth as possible for me. Even lending the house some of their own furnishings for the photos and viewings so it looked nice in the pictures and for the viewers. They made sure the house was ready for viewings and had its best chance to sell looking the best it could.
They managed to get two offers of over what we were expecting on the house in just a couple of weeks. The sales progression of the process was completely smooth sailing too. Chasing the buyer and the solicitors for us, but most importantly chasing me to gently give me the nudge to get the paperwork back. Then also arranging the house clearance for me
Very different to how estate agents were when I worked in Wokingham and previous agents I have dealt with on other properties. Not pushy, just informative.

Horrible service. Daniel, who was dealing with our viewing on Winton Road showed up late by 15 minutes. We then waited for the viewing before us to proceed. As we entered he seemed nonchalant to us, flipping through his phone with no acknowledgement of being late.
We put in an offer just a few thousand below asking price, over the odds which was rejected due to another party being in a better position to proceed.
The property was then reintroduced to the market, a few months later because as Daniel said 'the buyer couldnt sort out their finances'. We put down another offer, and were rejected again promptly.
To summarise my dealings with this man is like dealing with a brick wall.
Not the type of agent I would want dealing with my sale.

I hope others trying to sell their property will not do the same mistake as I did and go for another estate agent simply because they are well-known. After two unsuccessful attempts to sell my house with another agent, I had enough and decided to give Daniel and team a try. They really mean it when they say they are a family business. Instead of the usual corporate fluff that I got from others, they were there when I had questions, when I was worried and Dan kept calling everyone to ensure the sale gets completed. They really provided an excellent service which after my previous experience I could not take for granted. I was helped by Daniel and Daryl to sell three of my properties. They did a very good and professional job at a reasonable price. I am completely satisfied with them and the service they provided and will use them again when necessary. They went the extra mile to ensure our house was marketed well to the kind of audience that would appreciate the type of property we were selling and got us a number of sensible offers in a fairly short period of time. Great communications throughout and a huge help when our sale was down valued by the surveyor to ensure we didn't lose our onward purchase.

Property Assistant came highly recommended by our friends who were selling their house. We engaged their services but had to put our selling on hold due to an offer through a high street estate agent which eventually fell through. Property Assistant then were able to continue marketing our property. We were blown away by the professional photography, so much better than the usual photo snaps taken by an estate agent salesman. Property Assistant quickly found us a buyer and helped throughout the process. From listing to completion only took three months.
