Throughout the sale process, Matt, Sarah and Harry kept us informed of progress and were proactive in finding out what was happening on our behalf. Nothing was too much trouble and they really helped to ensure all parties understood each other's expectations. We had a valuation from Matt who was really helpful and made us feel reassured that we could sell our house after this amount of time. Ollie the photographer took some excellent photos and made the listing look as good as possible. Took a while for the sale to complete due to purchases solicitors being slow but Matt, Harry and Sarah kept us informed, responded to our emails quickly and chased the buyers and their solicitors regularly, keeping us informed of the progress. Shockingly poor communication from this estate agent, booked a viewing 8 days in advance. Arrived at the property no one to be seen, phoned them to be told the vendor never confirmed the viewing so this wasn't going ahead. They could have told me this before I dragged my 1 year old across town in rush hour and my partner left work early as they will have known this for a significant period of time! You think they would be keen when the house has been on the market for 4 months! Avoid if you can!

We are residing in Australia and selling in the UK, Matt and his team were professional and personable from the start. Nothing was too much trouble eg regularly checking the house for insurance purposes, letting in contractors at short notice, taking meter readings when we sold... They executed everything with ease and no fuss, just part of the service and all in a day's work.
They were quick to respond and acted as my eyes and ears from afar. Their advice was honest and in our best interests eg the cost of staging the property, as it was empty, was an unnecessary expense, and when we received a low offer they listened to our concerns, and understood them.
Updates were provided weekly by email, all responses to our queries were prompt and live calls were no issue either despite the time difference.
The contractors that they recommended were also prompt, friendly, provided photos as we couldn't visit the house - just an extension of the fantastic service given by the Royston & Lund team.
All members of the team were easy to work with, and get along with, they provided consistent high levels of service. I felt like we were in safe hands from the start.
We have bought and sold and also rented property in both Australia and the UK. Royston and Lund in Keyworth are by far the best estate agents that we have worked with, I cannot recommend them highly enough and would definitely use them again.

Highly recommend the Keyworth branch, from the outset professional, straight talking with no estate agent flannel, communication and organisation was consistently excellent.
I have only one reservation and that was after the sale of our property we were handed over to the sales team in West Bridgford, my preference would be to stay with the same team that I started the process with, not having to start again with some one new at a different further remote branch that I never actually met. - Hence my 4 star rating.

(about 10 years ago we went though 3 estate agents before trying Royston and Lund who sold the house) Unlike other estate agents they actively market your property. Great negotiation / communication with our buyer and solicitors. Wouldn't use anyone else .

I was a tenant for a period of just shy of 7yrs in the same property I moved into back ago.
The property was ideal for my needs, in a prime location. very well looked after by the R&L team on behalf of the landlord/lady.
My landlord/lady were lovery ,very easy going kind people.
The R&L team were fantastic too! nothing was too much trouble....quick to help and assist whenever they could, kind and professional, I would really recommend this Estate Agents (rental side as a tenant)
I found it hard to leave and move on tbh, however the time came...and before I handed the keys back I took it upon myself to freshen the property up...painted all the walls, purchased 3 new window keys (that were never there when I took the property on) replaced the oven light bulbs (one blew the week before I left....sods law) and replaced the carbon monoxide alarm which pegged out to. I left the property in a pristine condition, which was may way of saying thank you, and to help get a quick turn around for new tenants to move in.
you could argue and say " it's part of the TnCs to leve the property in a acceptable condition" which is true! however I went slightly above and beyond at my own expense.
I know for sure that the landlord/lady were ever so grateful which was nice to hear, my deposit was fully refunded too.
when it was time to leave I posted the keys back and closed the chapter.
The only thing I do kinder feel which may put Royston up in the top lot of rental agents, is some sort of acknowledgement a thank you for choosing "US" possibly a small gift or something for being a great hassle free tenant who never missed a rental payment etc etc, it really would put this business up there!
It just felt like from my eyes....here is the sign off statement, read it....any deductions (if applicable)...bye! just lacks the final....Thank you.
I don't know maybe i'm just a wee bit cynical if that's the right word.
Joking aside Royston & Lund the whole business in brilliant, very friendly and professional, way up there in the top ten....but could be well UP THERE!! when it comes to signing off.
