Rented a small flat in Inverness for over a year. Landlord was nice and really personable during viewing and conversations prior to moving in. Letting agency were ok until the tenancy came to an end and the process was tedious and completely unreasonable. Charged nearly £200 deducted from our security deposit for a “sparkle clean”. Basically took a photo of a tiny mark on bedside table and single dust particle as evidence. If it property doesn’t look shinier than when you moved in, don’t expect your deposit back. Not happy. There were also items on our inventory that we’re never in the property. You’ll notice most positive reviews are landlords and not tenants.????... Read more
