Josh was outstanding throughout our entire purchase process. He showed us many properties and was proactive from day one, always making time and giving honest, helpful guidance.
Once we agreed a price on the house we liked, his dedication really stood out. He followed up on every action point immediately, kept on top of all outstanding items, and maintained constant communication between us, the seller, and the solicitors. He was incredibly responsive throughout — messages and calls were always returned quickly — and he even coordinated across different time zones, often working late into the evening to keep everything moving.
There were several moments where the deal could easily have fallen apart, but Josh stepped in each time — speaking to both sides, managing expectations, and keeping everyone aligned and focused on getting the transaction over the line.
Without him, we are certain the sale would not have gone through. He’s an absolute superstar in our eyes, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Sophie truly represents the golden standard of estate agents in North London.
Sophie and I started working together two years ago when I told her about my ambition to find a home in N20 – a postcode in which I grew up, that I’m familiar with, and where I could stay close by to my parents in the years to come. I also wanted a “project” – one which I could put my stamp on over time, and that wasn’t recently “done up” by previous owners. I was a first-time buyer, and was prepared to wait for the right opportunity to arise.
I viewed multiple properties with Sophie, and I truly appreciated how she was never deterred when I expressed that a home “wasn’t quite right for me”. She was never insistent or impatient; she simply reassured me that the right property would come along, and that she would help me find it. She continuously updated her mental note of my preferences, and continued to send me suitable listings, as and when they came up.
Finally, one day in summer 2025, I got a ping from Sophie telling me that there was a property I’d really ought to see. I mentioned that I was away and wouldn’t be back until the following week. Sophie rightly warned that it was a “hot” property on a highly desirable N20 street, and that it would go under offer fast. Nevertheless, she followed up with me once I returned to London and said she really wanted me to have a look before it was too late. It turns out that Sophie had found the perfect property for me.
Even though there was already an offer on the house once I was able to view it, Sophie was open and transparent about the process, and advised me on how to proceed to make an offer that had good prospects of being accepted. Other estate agents might have pressured me into simply jumping to a much higher offer. However, Sophie’s advice was far more nuanced, pragmatic, and I valued her approach that while there were a number of competing offers, “it’s not all about the money”.
My offer was ultimately accepted and the usual conveyancing process unfolded, with lawyers, surveyors, clearances, etc. As a first-time buyer, I could not have asked for a better estate agent to support the process. Sophie is super knowledgeable, understands the area, knows the market, the neighbourhood and the neighbours, and there isn’t a question to which Sophie doesn’t have (or can’t quickly find) the answer.
Sophie is a true professional, and has been warm, and generous with time and advice. She exercised good judgement in chasing various parties (and third parties) to advance things forward when needed, while also being patient and giving space when certain aspects of the transaction were moving – necessarily – slower. Sophie was always available and responsive – even when on vacation, and in a different time zone. Where there were sticking points in the final stages of the process, Sophie did everything in her power to get the transaction over the line, and acted as an advocate for, and mediator between, both seller and buyer. We couldn’t have done this without her.
Sophie has been outstanding in all my dealings with her. I will always be grateful to her for being personally invested in my journey. She’s a true asset to Statons, and to the Totteridge real estate market. I recommend her at the highest level, to friends, colleagues, and anyone looking to buy in North London.

The most amazing experience of working with an estate agent we've ever had!
After having 2 houses fall through, we spoke to Sophie at Statons about our situation and she directed us to a house we hadn't even considered, it's like she knew exaclty what we were looking for! We went to view the property and made an offer the same day! Since then her communication and tenacity to get the property to completion has been second to none.
We had multiple legal issues and she completely took the stress off us and took it upon herself to make sure the matters were resolved. There was a point at which I was calling her multiple times a day with issues and she was nothing but patient, kind and knowledgeable, I can categorically say that without Sophie's hard work, our house purchase would absolutely not have made it to exchage or completion.

I have recently worked with Statons Totteridge whilst buying a property and dealt with Navid during the process. We found him an absolute pleasure to work with and he made sure we were kept informed throughout.
As a first time buyer, the process can seem quite daunting however his attentiveness and advice from start to finish made us feel extremely comfortable and in the loop. Not only did keep myself and my flat mate up to date but he was also in constant contact with both sets of solicitors to ensure that the process did not come to a halt at any point.
I have worked with a number of agents in the past in a professional capacity and can honestly say he is a cut above the rest.
