First of all dealing with Brooke in buying our new house and then putting ours on the market and selling within a week. Brooke you really are an absolute credit to stonefield. Brooke is a lovely friendly outgoing girl who will do everything she can to help you and is always so quick at getting back to you. We have had a laugh as well and will miss our daily chats ????
Also a special mention to James who came out quick once we had bought our new house to get ours on the market. He was also very professional, kind and talked me through everything as I had no idea due to not having moved in 18 years. His pictures and schedule description was fantastic too and he was determined to get back for outside pics on a nice day which he did although I think he may have climbed a tree or stood on a fence to get them they were amazing ????????

Firstly the contact and management of the sales process on which I was a buyer was first class and 10 out of 10 for Marie Barr who was exceptional. This was a tricky transaction as included a chain of sales in England. Kept me informed along the way and very empathetic in looking after seller and buyer.
The next point is a general point for Stonefield and estate agents. Obvious issues, such as a broken/immovable garage door should be pointed out rather than directing the 20 minute viewing away from the problem, hence relying on legal principle of'Buyer Beware' of purchaser to find out and questions if Home Reports are any help . Also, if possible, please help encourage sellers to be good citizens on completion date to empty their properties of all waste and furniture - almost impossible to get anything done after sale and just adds extra cost to the buyer.

Beware if selling with this company. I called and left a message asking them to call me back regarding a house I was interested in. They didn't. I called back a few days later and after about 8 calls I arranged a viewing at the house. On arrival at the house no one was present. I called Stonehouse and was told to hang on after a few minutes. The call was terminated. I tried calling back several time eventually getting through. I was told that there had been an error and the person who was to show me around wasn't there and had another house viewing. They offered a viewing that night which I couldn't attend. The sellers would not be aware that the agent probably lost a potential sale. I would not recommend this estate agent.

I had first put my property on the market with Stonefield Estate Agents in August 2022. Unfortunately the sale fell through due to buyers backing out at the last minute. At this time my circumstances changed and I took property off the market. During the next year Stonefield had not once chased me for any monies for marketing fees. I then put property back on the market in August 2023 and within six days the offer I received exceeded my expectations. Although the completion of the sale of my property took another six months this was in no way the fault of Stonefield, but was due to a major problem of a chain involving four people trying to sell and buy properties. I wish to personally thank Marie Bell who is the Branch Manager at Stonefield for keeping me informed almost every week of any developements in the procedure. She is a credit to the industry and deserves high praise.

The service from stonefields is great! For one my house sold within 3 days of being put on the market! Right from the start they where very helpful. My partner and I where pretty nervous but James helped settle our nerves, he was very flexible to accommodate times to view our house and did a great job of taking the pictures to show the houses character. Once the house was up for sale we where then passed on to Brooke, who was amazing, she took the time to walk us through the processes and is very helpful whenever I had any questions, our house has now sold but Brooke and James continue to be helpful in trying to find us a new house that would suit our requirements, overall the customer service is top notch, I will definitely use stonefields again in the future.

Whilst there were less expensive options, I’m a great believer in “ you get what you pay for”. This was certainly true of Stonefield. From the moment of that very first phone call with Chloe, then Richard - who came to appraise the house, to the wonderful CarolAnne ( who negotiated on our behalf ), I felt that my house was is safe hands. Contacted Stonefield with a view to getting a quote based on a recommendation. Visited by James who was well presented, professional and friendly. Felt we didn't need any other quotes from any others as James gave us the confidence that the process would be managed with minimum stress to us.
The whole process of selling was quick, easy and I was kept updated throughout the whole process. Never had to chase any issues and I don't think I had to actually call them one. Brooke updated us after every viewing and kept us in the loop at all times.
House selling is one of the most stressful events so it's helpful to have an estate agent that takes some of the stress away and we are very appreciative of that.

Stonefield have been incredible from start to finish. We originally planned to market our house just before Christmas but with the expertise from Steven we decided to hold off a few months. We then marketed in June and sold in less than a week. We have a difficult work schedule to work around which meant we had a specific time frame to work round when getting pictures and home report done. This made our time scale shorter but Steven made sure that nothing was rushed and we got the most out of the time we had to get the house on the market. Steven was knowledgeable and professional, he made sure we knew how to get the most for our home. Once our house was on the market we dealt with all the girls in the office. All of the girls were friendly and helpful, nothing was ever to much hassle for them and they always done their up most to make sure we were happy with how things were proceeding. The service wasn’t that of other estate agents, you are not treated as another number, every experience is human and personal and they work with you and all the emotions that come with selling your home.

The valuers, Barry and Stephen, set the tone with their knowledge and advice on the initial visit. The pictures and narrative description of the property were first class and created quite a stir on Facebook We were also very pleased with the aerial pictures and video The drone operator obviously took great pride in his work and was at pains to ensure the shots were of good quality.
We had already experienced the knowledge and excellent communication skills of Nicola Campbell, the Negotiator who was assigned to our property, as we had dealt with her when we were purchasing. Likewise we were impressed by Mary who had accompanied us on viewings and we were confident that she would handle our viewings in a similar professional manner. Mary was involved in most of our viewings but Jim and Karen were also very able viewing “buddies”

Why did I choose Stonefield? When I started looking at estate agents I thought I may as well go with the cheapest as all they do is take some photos and stick it on Rightmove. I looked at how Stonefield and others presented properties on Rightmove, and it was their quality photos and personalised descriptions that made me choose Stonefield - their price wasn't the cheapest, or dearest. My house sold in 6 days at closing date. They were also really good at advising on the offers, and certainly didn't make me think I should take the dearest one to maximise their commission.
Would I use them again? Yes. Would I recommend to friend and family? Yes.
