We've moved a few times and cannot recommend Strutt & Parker highly enough. Everything was set up with such ease. The photographs were perfect and the level of communication was brilliant. We completely trusted Patrick and his team to go in whilst we were away and show buyers around. Everything was checked and double checked before they left. It made life so easy for us. Patrick and his team are so respectful and we personally felt that they were working with our best interests. Every question we had was answered promptly and the move was so easy and smooth. If we plan to move again Strutt & Parker will be our first choice.

Super local expertise and outstanding personal advice from all team members.
My mother needed best value and a hassle-free deal. Although already familiar with the purchasers, Philip never failed to serve her best interests in securing a pre-marketing sale to a cash buyer. He encouraged us to set an ambitious price and helped us to realise us in double-quick time from offer to completion of just 11 weeks.
Back-office service was also superb and personal, thanks to Lizzie.

We had an awful experience dealing with them. Avoid unless you want a terrible time. They want all the commitment in the world from a buyer without reciprocating the same as the agent and i found them to be equally clueless how finance works (short term bridging loan) and unskillful at managing their own clients ridiculous expectations. At many stages of trying to buy through them it was us educating them. They were utterly and totally clueless, causing us to lose thousands in fees and valuations which amounted to nothing. One star is too generous for this company.

Tried to purchase a house through them last year, whole process was painful, impersonal and unhelpful. As a local self-employed businessman I explained I needed a little more time than usual to secure my mortgage “Agreement in Principle” they insisted they so desperately needed (had certificate from mortgage advisor saying I would be absolutely fine), yet they wouldn’t take the slightest bit of pragmatism towards the approach despite the property being on the market for several months. Property eventually sold for less than I was offering so can only assume they were working to large PLC box ticking exercises than in their own clients best interests in this particular case. Subsequently purchased a house through Mccarthy Holden who were a delight from start to finish.

They were highly professional, gave the family helpful advice and, above all, were very patient! Particular mention goes to Phillip, whom was absolutely excellent.
One of the first day’s viewers made an offer which resulted in completion approximately two months later.
We are very happy to have selected S&P over the competition and in particular Phillip. His broad experience, and calm collective manner were a tremendous help throughout.
Our sale was conducted during COVID-19 which couldn’t have been easy for the buyer, nor the team at S&P.
We were particularly impressed by the proactive nature of Phillip. We look back on the experience slightly perplexed at how well it all went.
