I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the way my appointment to view an apartment was handled by your office.
I contacted your office by email three days ago to arrange a viewing. However, no clear appointment was confirmed in advance. Today, I received a phone call at 9:00 AM while I was at work, asking if I could view the apartment at 9:30 AM, which was extremely short notice and showed little consideration for my schedule.
Despite this, I left work at 9:15 AM and sent a message at 9:27 AM informing your representative that I would arrive within 15 minutes due to traffic. Unfortunately, the response I received was very delayed and unprofessional.
This experience reflects poor coordination and a lack of respect for a client’s time. As a customer, I expect clear communication and reasonable notice when scheduling appointments.
I hope you will take this matter seriously and review how your team communicates with clients, as professionalism and respect should always come first.

Terrible agents who don’t communicate appropriately. They leave you hanging with no regard for the impact that has on you. They also don’t address any requests you make on the form and allow you to rent homes that have not been cleaned and do nothing about it. Don’t recommend! Especially if you’re not a local.

We’ve been in our apartment for five weeks now and are still waiting for several important maintenance issues to be resolved.
The balcony door will not lock — a clear security concern — and several of the supplied dining chairs were broken when we moved in, along with other issues such as a damaged skirting board, broken towel rails and missing shelf.
Despite sending multiple polite emails and follow-ups, we haven’t received a single response from the estate agents since we paid our deposit and rent.
Extremely quick to respond before we parted with our money. No response since we parted with our money. Literally ignored everything.
The lack of communication and basic accountability has been really disappointing, especially given the urgency of the balcony door issue which is objectively a security risk.
I’m updating my review from five stars to one star to reflect our actual experience.
Hopefully this feedback encourages the company to improve their communication and take maintenance and tenant safety more seriously.
On a more personal note: I've lived in various places across the Northwest and also all over Europe, including some second world countries. Never experienced anything as bad as this.

Very disappointed, I really wish it wasn't like that. I am interested in buying an apartment in Liverpool city centre, but communication is very complicated, it seems that they are not interested in selling the properties or maybe I am not an interesting target and they prefer to take care of communication in more expensive sales.
Let me explain, I am interested in an apartment in Liverpool city centre. I tried to contact the office at the beginning of April, sent several emails and got no answers, so I called. After several attempts, in a couple of weeks I managed to get an appointment for a viewing, this was possible because I finally went to the office in person. After the view, I sent an email with questions that I was interested in knowing about the apartment, no response. I called the office and asked for a second viewing and for them to respond to my email if possible, they told me they would contact me, no response at all. A few days later I called again, we agreed on a day for a second viewing, but they told me they would send me an email to confirm this, no email, no response. I called again the following week and the same thing happened. I called again the following week and the same thing again, they told me a day for a second viewing that should be confirmed, no email, no communication. I gave up on emails because it's impossible for them to respond to an email. So I called them this week on two different days, this time they didn't even answer my calls. So I've been trying to get someone to confirm a second viewing or give me some information for the last two months and I feel like I'm just wasting my time.
It's frustrating, even though there are a few really interesting apartments on the website, but if I don't have answers even for the first one, why am I going to ask about any other property?
I have the feeling that instead of making it easier for me to buy an apartment, Sutton Kersh is putting obstacles in my way and it's sad because we're both supposed to be looking for the same goal. I wish I could give a better review, that would mean that we are all happy with the process, but unfortunately my experience is really bad.

Had the absolute worst experience with Sutton Kersh - avoid!! I was purchasing my first house through them and it took around 28 weeks to get the keys from when my offer was accepted. I felt like I constantly had to chase them and was never given an update, I feel like I was always having to offer up potential solutions, the manager was always condescending probably because I’m young/a first time buyer. I was consistently told “it’s just a lengthy process” and 26 weeks into the sale the manager told me “there’s nothing anyone in this office can do for you” - even though at this point the seller and their solicitor had made the case a priority as it has been going on for so long. Once I was told to wait till the end of the week for an update, called back and the manager simply said “no, nothing in the inbox” and I had to ask if she was going to do anything about it or if she was just going to sit and wait potentially several more weeks for a response, she wasn’t very willing to help unless pressed and I feel like her attitude and overall level of service were shockingly bad, I couldn’t believe that she was the manager.
After the sale, the seller was reimbursing something their solicitor was meant to pay for but mine charged me for, I sent an email about this to ask them to contact the seller and I never heard back, they didn’t care once the sale was through.
However, on the other hand, months into the sale my case was handed over to Mary Kate and she was amazing, her personally I would give 5 stars to. I called so many times and sent so many emails and she was always happy to help and seems like she actually did her job in chasing the seller and trying to get the sale through, rather than just sitting back waiting for a response and hoping something would change. She never made me feel like I was being unreasonable by calling for an update and never minimised the situation, in all honestly think she would be a much better manager.

Nicky ford has recently help take over the management of my property from another agent who was not performing as I would of hoped. From initial contact I felt reassured that I was in safe hands. Despite the previous agent making it as hard as possible for Nicky to take over the property she kept on the pressure and got the property signed over and the new tenancy agreement in place. I was kept up to date through the whole process which made the situation alot less stressful. All future properties will be going straight to Nicky.

I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Sutton Kersh. I had scheduled a flat viewing for a Saturday at 1 pm, with the arrangements being made on the preceding Friday. The agency had advised me to communicate any potential changes as soon as possible, which is exactly what I endeavored to do when I anticipated a delay due to a three-hour journey and potential traffic issues.
Regrettably, the agent I had been dealing with was not working on that Saturday, and there was no automated out-of-office response to inform me of this situation. Therefore, I was under the mistaken impression that my message about my delayed arrival had been received and acknowledged.
When I arrived at the property at 1:45 pm, there was no response from the tenant. My attempts to contact the agency by phone were met with indifference, as my calls either remained unanswered or I was told the salesperson was unavailable.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, I visited the agency's office, which was conveniently located five minutes away. To my astonishment, I found the salesperson present in the office, despite my calls being disregarded earlier. I relayed the sequence of events to them, but instead of accepting their role in the communication lapse, they left voice messages for the tenant, failing to take responsibility for not conveying my delayed arrival.
Their insistence that they couldn't facilitate the viewing themselves and their lack of initiative to find a resolution was equally frustrating. It is disheartening to reflect on the considerable amount of time and financial resources I expended, including a six-hour round trip journey and a hotel reservation, all of which was wasted due to their ineffective communication and a lack of professional responsibility.
My intention was to purchase the property that day, however, this experience has cast a serious doubt on the professionalism and reliability of Sutton Kersh. I hope my experience will highlight the need for the agency to improve its commitment to customer service, communication, and responsibility to its clientele.

We were recently forced to rent a home due to delays building our new build in a market where rental prices are high and available properties few and far between. We found the ideal property on the ideal terms through Sutton Kersh. It was a stressful time co ordinating the sale of our home and the move to rental but Sutton Kersh were really supportive and professional and helped as much as they could. Completely unacceptable to take all of our details, do a soft credit check, arrange a viewing yesterday for today and let the property out without informing us. We've had to travel from another city. I checked the property on Rightmove to see it had been let before calling them at 11.48 to confirm, when our viewing is arranged for 12.45. no notice from them either.

Do not rent through this agent. They are absolutely useless. They will fail to give notice to your landlord, ignore you when you flag broken fire alarms, door handles etc. and then you will be hit with a big bill when you leave. Passed from pillar to post and no one seems to have a clue how to do their job. Use at your own risk. Appalling service that helps unscrupulous landlords to exploit their tenants.

I honestly wouldn’t believe this company has had that many 5stars from people because they are very rude condescending and when it comes to getting back deposit they avoid phone calls and send you on wild goose chases, they also don’t do well with keeping agreements they will do everything in their power to dupe you of your hard earned money, tried charging me £70 for disposing one item in the fridge yes that’s right one item to be thrown in the bin they tried to charge £70, stay well away if you want peace of mind

Was recently very lucky to secure a property to let that was exactly what we were looking for. I would like to commend Lucy massively for her help from the beginning. We booked the viewing for the property and by chance were the first people to view it. Lucy told us this initially and said that if we liked it we should take it on the day if we could as interest was so high and as soon as we saw it we could see why and so we did thanks to her little tip off! Since then she has been nothing but helpful and responded to all queries quickly and efficiently and calmed any anxieties we had about referencing and the application to let process. The online report system for maintenance issues is easy to use, and flat manager was quick to solve any problems I had with the flat. Deposit repayment was easy and quick. Absolute joke of a company. Had a viewing at Waterloo Warehouse, had no confirmation call on the day although it was confirmed a couple of days earlier via text. Turned up five minutes before my viewing and gave them a call to ask where to go as I had no instructions and was advised the viewer would come down and meet me. Waited a further 15 minutes in the rain and still nothing so I called back into the office and they advised they where unable to get in touch with the viewing agent. Terrible service when looking for an apartment.

I highly recommend Sutton Kersh City Centre to anyone thinking to sell their property. Thank you Jamie & Debbie in particular for their First class customer service. Always kept me well informed, excellent communication, friendly and very professional. The process can be very stressful but Debbie has made it easier and very understandable when it comes to difficult situation. It is difficult to keep both parties happy and Debbie has done an excellent job. Jamie is an excellent negotiator with lots of local knowledge and understand the market well and try his best to satisfy. After the transaction, they helped me to find local contractor and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for all the excellent work!

Worst agents ever encountered. Requested for viewing through website, twice, no response. Called them, they didn't answer, twice. Left voicemail regarding appoinment, they didn't come back. So, went to their office and requested for property viewing, they told they shall contact the existing tenants and arrange a date and time for viewing and would contact me regarding the appointment. Never heard from them.
