Hannah was my first port of contact to arrange a viewing and was professional and very helpful in assisting with this.
I met Brian at the property and he showed me around. He was so helpful and friendly and only too happy to answer any questions I had. He had a lovely calming nature and it made viewing the property a pleasure.

Bought my house from them and were great.
Tried to sell my house with them for that reason, and my first enquiry was ignored and second was acknowledged but not answered.
All they needed to do was tell me their fee and I would have marketed my house with them as I wasn't looking to go with anyone else or get any other quotes or valuations. But I was ignored....multiple times, so I've had to put my house on the market with someone else instead now.
I've never known a business to make it so hard to give them business/money.
I spent 2 years saying how good they were but now I will spend how ever many I have left telling them how crap they are.

Deeply Disappointed – Sutton Kersh Allerton
We were pressured to use their in-house mortgage broker, and when we refused, our accepted offer was suddenly withdrawn. To me, this was an obvious and unethical tactic. After seeing the Panorama investigation, it’s clear these practices are happening across certain estate agents — and sadly, our experience fits the pattern exactly. We’d searched for a home for months with our one-year-old, made ourselves chain-free, and still lost out. Buyers deserve fair treatment, not sales pressure disguised as “process.”

When myself and my partner arrived for a house viewing, he was extremely polite and showed us around, being very informative about the property itself, its previous tenants and the surrounding area.
David even visualised how we would lay out our home by asking personal questions about what we did for work and any hobbies or passions we chase in our free time.
David was also super informative when it came to us taking an application, and the steps we needed to take to fill said application out. He made the process very straightforward and simple.
I don’t think either myself or my partner have ever had such a pleasant viewing from being greeted, to being waved goodbye and wished good luck, with any estate agent/landlord/homeowner.

Absolutely awful experience as a buyer. They try to force you into using their in-house mortgage advisors by making offers conditional on it - even if you already have your own advisor. Totally unacceptable. We never even got confirmation that our offer was submitted.
Thankfully, we ended up buying and selling with different estate agents and got a much better house.
As a seller, be warned - they’ll lure you in by overvaluing your property just to win your business. Once it's listed and no offers come in, they will pressure you to drop the price. Classic bait-and-switch tactic. Totally misleading and a waste of time.

What an illegal racket this place is! I've never come across such a corrupt business. We went for a house in Childwall, and they said our offer was accepted. However, Kerry from the business said that if I didn't go with their mortgage broker, they would call up the rejected offers to outbid mine, which is illegal. This is exactly what happened. It turns out things happen for a reason, as we found our dream house somewhere else for a lot cheaper. The way they reply to people on here is a disgrace; they act as if they are doing no wrong. We have escalated this further, and we've been assured by the Property Ombudsman that they will take a serious look into the matter.
I've seen the replies from Sutton Kersh attempt to discredit people who have suffered the same experience as me. I feel obliged to let them know that all phone calls when I dealt with them were made from my work phone which means all calls are recorded.
They are messing with people's lives, people who are trying to get a nice home for their kids, all for a £800 sign on fee with the mortgage broker and a cut of the mortgage. Slimy people, not sure how you sleep at night.

This estate agent is only interested in supporting first time buyers … not interested in where vendors are going to live. Since the sale of my house few weeks ago , I have placed several offers on houses and not been successful . The agent constantly contacted me to find out what we are doing . They allow first time buyers to constantly push vendors . The first time buyers did land Registered search on my property in the first week ! I couldn’t believe this !!. They constantly allow first time buyers to dictate Timescales , when a vendor is still trying to find a new property. They just care money !
I went with this company on recommendation and highly regret this decision . I am now in the position of being pushed to find a new house asap !
I would not recommend using them , as they put nothing but stress onto vendors .

We worked with Sutton Kersh for 2 years as we navigated difficult life circumstances that involved having to withdraw the house from the market then re-list it. We entered the market in April 2022 in very different circumstances and the team at Sutton Kersh worked tirelessly to find us a suitable buyer for our house. They supported us when experiencing buyers pulling out and each time got the house quickly re-listed and got us lots of viewings. I have been renting through Sutton Kersh for 7 years, they have been nothing but helpful. From calling to ask about repairs to changes in circumstances, they have always answered the phone and offered support whenever we have needed it.
Recently we decided to move from the apartment into a house. After viewing a number of houses we came across one being advertised via Sutton Kersh. From booking the viewing, to putting in the application form, and going through referencing checks, it has been super straightforward and fast, in fact it has taken less then 72 hours!
Justine, Hannah and Mollie have been there every step of the way to provide advice and reassure us of the process. We recently found out we have been accepted for the new house and I am thankful that it is via Sutton Kersh, as I know that we will be supported for the next (hopefully) 7 years!

I have never had such bad customer support from a company.
We recently purchased a property in Woolton, and from the get go the lack of communication was extremely poor.
It seems they rarely answer the phones only to be told they are busy. Sorry to say but hire someone who can!
They also do not return calls even when you leave messages. No one gets back to you when they say they will with questions we had. We had a young girl who made an appointment with us at 9am and then she ‘forgot’ to show up. We traveled over an hour to be there and we could not get a hold of anyone to see what had happened. Call your clients if you are late. Manage your time and please stop saying you will do something and then radio silence. It’s bad business.
Overall if you are a purchaser they do not appear to have any formal best practices or proper procedures in place to make the buying process stress free.
I would not recommend this location and only hope management takes the points on board and make the necessary changes.
The Sutton Kersh Allerton location needs attention.

We currently rent a property off them, they agreed we could pay on the day but rang and rang me and partner days before; asking for payment - with no apology when the caller released she was in the wrong and kept saying ‘oh I’ll have to speak to my manager as it’s not how we usually do things’ like my partner was lying about the agreement with their staff! We moved into a property with gas already in debt so we couldnt get a hot shower no help or info from anyone! House is falling apart, with leaks and broken toilets. As a tenant of 10 years, I can't fault them as a letting agent. Both Marial and Eve are fantastic in what they do and very supportive in every way. The only downside is their maintenance department - for 2 years I have to endure a leaking roof, which I had to have environmental health to investigate in order to get things moving...and yet there are still a few issues that have not been completed as yet.

Happy to change this rating on experience, but having called this office maybe 15 times on multiple days and times I can say it's the only estate agent who consistently does not have an available sales team. Whether you're selling a house or looking to book a viewing this is a major inconvenience, and a massive contrast to all other agents in Liverpool I've dealt with

I have been very happy with the service from Sutton Kersh from beginning to end. Georgie did the initial evaluation and managed the sales process through to offer. As I don't live in the area this included managed viewings. We quickly had a number of expressions of interest and Georgie managed a final offers process. Georgie also quickly identified a suitable property for my brother to buy. Once we had an accepted offer the process was handed over to Charlotte. She was acting on behalf of everyone in the chain and needed to quickly communicate up and down the chain while taking a balanced view of individual interests. The process was difficult and the chain came close to falling apart several times when issues came up with different transactions along the chain. Even when things got difficult Charlotte remained calm and tenacious and came up with creative ideas to move things forward. She just didn't give up. Against the odds we completed just in time. An excellent job! Thank you so much to you all.

Sutton Kersh introduced us in March 2019 to the home we eventually bought but we were not proceedable until July 2019 and could not offer until July 2019. The sales staff and subsequently the progression staff (Gayle, Julie and Charlotte) were all wonderful; friendly, invariably cheerful, helpful and encouraging through a very stressful move from 180 miles south of Liverpool. Legal problems at the bottom of our chain held up our exchange and completion until January 2020, so we were really glad to have had such a professional team of people helping us on our quest to move to our forever home for retirement! I have used Sutton Kersh for my last three house sales and always found them to be the best of all the Liverpool agents. You get a far better service than you would from an online service such as Purple Bricks or House Simple which, in my experience, are detached and hard to communicate with at best. The service from Sutton Kersh is much more personal and knowing their clients better enables them to match properties to those clients with a greater success rate.

Sutton Kersh in Allerton rd: Just sold my recently passed away Mums house and from start to finish the professionalism of Fran D (She treated me with down to earth care and attention at a sad time in my life) and the girls in the office gave outstanding customer service.
The time/effort and communication was 100% and will be recommending these guys to all my business friends and family.
Strongly suggest if about to sell your property then stick with the tried and trusted estate agent method it always pays to do things properly.
Other options such as the green/red/yellowbricks method (or whatever they are called) will give you a 30-60% effort and return OR go to Sutton Kersh and always get 100% result.
IT MAKES SENSE TO USE A PROPER PROFESSIONAL ESTATE AGENTS AND SUTTON KERSH ARE THE BEST!

After searching for my next dream home for what seemed a lifetime, I discovered it one evening online and immediately fell in love with it. It had everything I wanted plus more! So, not wanting to miss out I emailed the team at Sutton Kersh and managed to arrange a viewing for a few days later.
After turning up and falling even more in love with the property and knowing that I had to have it, I discovered I was the last one to view (Number 16) and there were already offers going in. Thank goodness the vendors didn't decide to cancel my appointment. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I put in my offer then was advised it was going to best and final offer. Arrrrgh - I'd done that before and it didn't work out but thought 'you've got to be in it to win it'. And so I did.
When Sutton Kersh called with the news, I couldn't have been happier. And then the relationship with SK really began. Over the 3 months it took to complete (due to challenges further down the chain), the team were continually in touch with me, helped organise additional viewings with the vendor, and also helped me arrange my mortgage in addition to surveys and other stuff. It was like a one-stop shop and they were amazing!
