Couldn’t have asked for a better person to deal with.From the start- he showed us round the property and didn’t push us, he let us look around and ask questions, without being smothering. He didn’t give us the usually state agent jargon. He worked for our sellers and didn’t have to help us at all but he set up a what’s app group and guided us through the whole process. Any time we messaged he’d replied very quickly. Always happy to help, he made the process a lot quicker and smoother by communicating with both sides solicitors and a lot less stressful. We sadly lost our mother last year and had to put her property in Harefield on the market. We got a number of estimates and were given lots of believable data by a large well known estate agent in Ruislip. He rushed to get the property on the market, instantly told us to reduce the price and messed us around considerably. We parted ways and with dread had to look for another agent to help market the house again. Once again we got a number of agents round and amongst them was the smaller company, Swakeleys Estates. Within minutes of speaking to David we knew he was the right person to help. David is the ONLY person you deal with (no messaging around with leaving messages with other people and waiting for calls back or unable to get hold of anyone on a Saturday). If David is unavailable, he calls you back as soon as he can. David spoke to with us with sympathy and understanding and a very good knowledge of the area and house prices. David made it clear he ensures anyone who signs on with him is serious and in a position to move. As the property was empty and we live in Devon, David worked around the buyers availability (including evenings or Saturdays and Sundays) and NEVER rushed. Nothing was too much trouble. From the first viewings arranged for the weekend we achieved 2 sets of offers. Both individuals were in a position to move and were serious. We accepted an offer and from start to finish (and despite it being a chain and in December) David kept us informed throughout and worked tirelessly to keep everything moving forward. With regular updates and constant contact with the buyers solicitors and also ours, from start to finish we completed in just over 2 months. David checked on the house for us regularly, even after the offer had been accepted. The weather took a turn for the worse and during the very cold spell in December, David checked on the property and ensured the heating was on and made sure that everything was ok. We cannot fault his efforts or his working professionalism. In all the years we have sold properties, we have never met or worked with someone so passionate about working with you to achieve a sale in such an honest and knowledgable manner. We can whole heartedly recommend David from Swakeleys Estates and cannot thank him enough for everything he did. We very much appreciate all his efforts.... Read more
