SweetMove have provided an exceptional service every step of the way. This was my first time selling a property and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They thoroughly explained each step (in a way that was easy for me to understand). The team provided expert advice especially when I needed help with how to prepare and present my house ready for photos and viewings - I really needed their guidance and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
Every team member from SweetMove; including Simon, Emily, Kate and Sarah have been only too happy to give me their time and never made me feel rushed. They kept in close contact throughout the process which has been amazing.
An additional mention of their brilliant photographer Andrew. He captured the key elements of my property and the resulting photos were so great I’d want to buy the house myself all over again! These highly professional photos made a huge difference to presenting my house online.
Viewings were arranged quickly, with plenty of notice given to me and feedback after each viewing. It’s clear that SweetMove cared about the process and selling my house - they did a fantastic job and I’m so pleased with the outcome. Thank you all.

I couldn't praise Emily and the team at Sweetmove more if I tried, we was relocating to Pocklington & they went above and beyond in helping us find the perfect home for me and my partner.

In my opinion, Sweetmove failed to look after the property as well as they should. The tenants had mounted televisions to walls, as well as other items, and glued on child locks, on for example the oven, none of which was allowed. Once I decided that I'd live in the property myself (I gave 6 months notice and due to the tenants request to move out before the end of the contact, allowed them to do so), thus no longer using Sweetmove, they weren't interested in whatever I said - all they cared about was the tenants and ensuring the rented another property through them. I honestly cannot recommend sweetmove enough. Emily and Kate are second to none, their knowledge and guidance have made the process of selling my house easy and enjoyable.
This was my first time selling a property so I went into it pretty clueless and worried however with Emily and Kate on the other end of the phone each worry was squished almost immediately.
They found me a buyer so quickly and made sure I was up to date every step of the way.
So happy my house is sold however now sad I don’t get to deal with Kate and Emily each week (sometimes daily, sorry ladies)!!

Sweetmove were the managing agent of two properties that we let. Their involvement was complete from serving Section 21's, working with the tenants to find new accommodation in the difficult market, marketing the properties and showing it to prospective clients.
Throughout the process we were kept informed and any issues were dealt with openly and successfully.
I have seen how the large agencies operate and how they work to take a commission from every action or service that are part of letting, selling or buying of property. Such behaviour was never witnessed during all our dealings with Sweetmove as landlord and seller.

Even if we didn’t get the property we wanted to rent (and we eventually did!) I still wanted to write about the positive experience with Sweetmove.
Out of a few agencies and agents we have met/encountered in the short time of house hunting (online and in person) this agency did stand out to me as really centred around people, I didn’t feel just like an item on the list with certain income. They all (Robin and Lisa specifically) genuinely care about the future tenants whilst trying to match them with the right property. Not seeing only everything in black and white on the paper but having a truly humanistic approach.
I think the name Sweet Move is not only cute and feels full of hope for the future “movers” it also holds a lot of care. Especially when nowadays in today’s society the close and personal touch is often buried and lost under perhaps effective but somehow distant professionalism and “the next…” attitude, finding our ideal home through Sweet move was a very pleasant experience.

Amazing service from Sweetmove, Pocklington. From initially putting our house on the market, where they took perfect photos and gained 5 viewings in just 3 days! We initially got 2 offers and accepted one, which unfortunately fell through. Sweetmove were brilliant in handling the situation and we quickly resold again in a matter of days. After a terrible 8 months (through fault of buyers) we finally completed on our sale in July 2023. Sweetmove were amazing. They were really accommodating when I was viewing properties and lined a number of properties up in the area. They acted really quickly once I made an offer and went back and forth between me and the sellers to get an agreement. During the sales process, they were constantly in contact with both me, the sellers and our solicitors to move things on. I had problems with my solicitors and Sweetmove helped to work around this and complete the purchase. It easily would have taken an extra month to complete without Sweetmove’s support. Absolutely disgusting company to deal with the most unprofessional excuse for a letting agency ...lead us to believe that all was going through had a few problems to sort out got them sorted never given a a proper answer to questions ...I was getting upset as I am moving from Lincolnshire to york to work selling my home so my partner rang sweetmove to get an answer and got a little upset with them as moving date was getting close only to be be told by the rudest manager she was no longer proceeding with the rental of the property . I rang to find out what was going on o ly to be shouted at down the phone by her not letting me speak SHE had decided that we were not suitable for the letting of the property....if I spoke to my patients at ghe hospital ghat way I wouldn't have a job same for my partner are we not allowed to have answers to our questions without being judged by someone who doesn't even know us apart from speaking on the phone. THANK YOU SWEETMOVE FOR LEAVING US HOMELESS AND IM SURE THE LANDLADY WILL MISS HER RENT BUT ALSO TWO TENNANTS WHO WHOULD HAVE LOVED THAT PROPERTY ...THE MANAGER NEEDS TO GET SOME PEOPLE SKILLS .....SWEETMOVE YOU ARE DEFINATLY NOT SWEET

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but Sweet Move have been terrible. I have called and left so many messages, and mailed them at least 5 times, to ask about a rental property they are advertising. The lady who took my calls was very polite and kept forwarding my messages, but the rental people can't seem to be bothered to talk to me, even to just say that the property is gone.
