We instructed Underwoods to support with finding a new tenant for our commercial property in Northampton. From the very start, we were very impressed with the level of dedication and support received. Ravi Varambhia supported us throughout, always just a phone call away and always keeping us well informed of what was happening. He essentially took the headache out of the whole process for us, and was just a very considerate and absolute professional and I always enjoyed a good chat with him as well!
The wider Underwoods team were also incredibly helpful, sorting various requests and going above and beyond at all times. I heard great things about Charlie as well, so many thanks. Overall, a lovely experience of what can often be a complicated process, so would highly recommend and would have no hesitation in using them again in the future.

1st Experience of Underwoods and cannot state how impressed from
First communication to meeting Paul onsite to now. You get what you pay for and the experience and his knowledge of the Peterborough was second to none. When remortgaging you want firm but fair and confident that the Surveyor knows the market place and location. I will use Paul and Underwoods for further applications and would suggest anybody else looking for a Surveyor and Company that Underwoods be top of that list.

Despicable company throughout. Even sent us a solicitors letter threatening court action if we did not remove an honest Google review. Took our complaints about the way they operate to the property ombudsman who agreed most of our issues and awarded compensation.

Since the 1980s, our small family run landlord business has relied on Underwoods locally as it is an excellent professional full service life cycle offering in the East Midlands area and beyond. During this time, we've also trialled other commercial competitors in the local area but have always returned to Underwoods as we found they provide the most reliable service and comprehensive support at reasonable value every time.
However, a business is only as good as its people and of outstanding note is RAVI (Agency/Prof. Services) who is smart, industrious, incredibly helpful and responsive. Even when we are stuck on an issue or are frustrated with our lawyers, we can always rely on RAVI to provide commercial and pragmatic advice to get us unstuck, and he is an excellent sounding board for all real estate issues. With his remarkable consistently high-calibre service every time, we are very lucky to have RAVI as our lead trusted advisor servicing our regional real estate matters.
We have also been v.impressed with the experienced and versatile ALEX MANUEL (Building Surveying Team) who sorts out our post-termination matters such as dilapidations. His technical work product and advice (e.g.Dilapidation Schedules, Schedule of Condition, etc) is superb, he is extraordinarily diligent in his Contract Administration Role in managing on-site building works and he has proved to be an effective negotiator in settlement discussions including against regional and global giants (eg: Cushman & Wakefield). ALEX writes and presents extremely well and we have him tagged as a potential technical expert for any future contentious matter, as we can see he would be a cogent and persuasive expert witness on paper and in court.
We are presently very happy with the servicing team at Underwoods.

Wish I didn't have too even give them stars because I would leave that part completely BLANK. How anyone could give this company stars is beyond me, unless their getting friends to give them reviews. Nothing would surprise me.

If I could give - ?? I definitely would. Incompetent throughout, never get back to you- just ignore you. They lie for their own gain especially Ravi. They are all only interested in commission. Absolutely horrendous company and staff. Would avoid them like the plague. As for these false reviews of 5 stars… how pathetic that you have to get your own staff members to write a good review about you to try and boost your ratings. Do not believe the 5 star ratings as they are 100% false… especially the ones in the last year.

He secured a strong price for the property and made the entire transaction process easy and stress-free.

Very bad experience with agent Joss I don't know if it's racism but I have applied for 3 commercial premises for rent with offers to pay the rent for a whole year, plus deposit and I have never received an answer that is YES or NO. At the moment 3 months have passed and I have not received a response.
