A very different experience. It took us close to two years on and off to sell our property, going through a range of emotions. Typically we went with our local market leader as they priced it the highest and in true fashion marked the price down and down to eventually well below its true value. We took it off the market feeling really deflated and feeling a bit lost. We were then recommended to give Louise at Urban & Country a go. Louise had a completely different approach to how to sell a house, she was in constant touch and only brought round potential buyers once she had done her due-diligence on them. She really changed the whole proposition by different photographs, video and narrative. She also pointed out the potential and flexibility of our property by highlighting areas of the outside that other Estate agents didn’t even bother to show. Louise sold our property at exactly the price we wanted and instead of saying goodbye she stayed by our side and helped us with our ongoing purchase with good solid advice. We really felt that Louise was genuine and a hard worker. You don’t find many companies out there that would phone you on a Saturday night at 9pm to give you feedback. Urban and Country Homes Dorset is without doubt the most professional , caring, attentive and efficient my husband and I have ever come across, we have moved many times over the last few years. Urban and Country Homes Dorset sold our last property for us under very difficult circumstances, as it was leasehold. They dealt with a lease extension on our behalf and concluded our sale whist keeping us informed of the transactions at all times. We bought this current property through them too. Louise at all times advised us, kept us informed took great care of us both under difficult circumstances again, showing us a professional, caring and very attentive approach to the negotiations . We have dealt with a good number of estate agents over many years. This was by far the worst experience we have had. Sadly we found the basic levels of customer service lacking, such as answering calls, acknowledging voicemail and whatsapp messages, returning calls and messages and providing meaningful updates.
