Great people to deal with. Maybe one of the smaller operations in the town but don't underestimate their abilities. I see plenty of their 'sold by' and 'let by' signs around so I used them to sell my mum's flat. It was up against plenty of similar properties and I'm really grateful they found a buyer and made sure it all went through successfully. Many thanks to all the team there.... Read more

Absolutely fantastic estate agents! Ian, Alex & Hannah are all professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. I used Vicary & Co to sell my house and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Initially Ian came out to view the property, he was very knowledgeable, with years of experience and chatted through my queries with depth and generosity of time (unlike a few other estate agents in the area) - I would also add it was well worth getting a valuation from Ian as had I have gone with another estate agent at the other end of the high street, I’d have lost out on a very significant amount of money! Alex then came round to take photos. As well as being so professional and friendly, he has a real passion for photography and an eye for making somewhere look exceptional. I was blown away by the photos and the meticulous effort he put into making each one sing the praises of my home. The brochure he put together was of such a high standard… and it worked, within days viewings were booked in. The first people to view the house made an offer. The rest is history. I have been kept in the loop with any updates and they have been happy to answer any questions I have had along the way. I couldn’t recommend this firm more highly.... Read more

Man at the Bridport office was very rude and angry and accused me of shouting at him (which I most definitely did not). He also asked me about benefits which I'm not sure he was allowed to do. He never called me back as he said he would, when I called him , he was rude, spoke over me and raised his voice. I was left feeling very upset and not really understanding what was going on. I work full time in a professional position so I didn't feel that I deserved his onslaught of being spoken down to!! Very upsetting... Read more

I am a tenant of Vicary and Co's and at first I was a bit nervous as their rules and regulations are so stringent but then I realised that this is obviously why they obtain the best tenants for their landlords. Maxine is a super efficient power-house and has often gone way beyond the call of duty to assist me with various issues. 12 out of 10 letting agents!!!!!... Read more

I have been a tenant of a property managed by Vicary & Co for nearly six years and have found them to be both very capable and very professional in every dealing I have had with them. I have dealt with Maxine from Vicary for most of my tenancy and she has been an absolute pleasure to work with.
