David from Vivien Horder followed up my previous review and based on his efforts to make amends we took the offer for a follow up valuation.
The cause of the issue was explained and David was knowledgable and personable.
Both my wife and I were impressed by the service and would have every confidence in using Vivien Horder for our property listing.
Very disappointing service. Booked a valuation and the agent never showed up. We called the office after waiting 15 minutes past appointment time. The office said the agent (Luke) should be with us or at least on his way as it’s on his calendar. We were then be called shortly after by Luke who explained it was not on his calendar so he had not been reminded to attend.
Appreciate issues can occur but the differing story from office to agent is suspicious and then no effort to attend on the same day after keeping us waiting was more disappointment.

We instructed Joe Moore at Vivien Horder last year and have been beyond impressed with him as an individual and with the firm generally. Joe was so supportive and gave such sound advice on the market and how best to proceed as well as how to navigate the various stages. Having dealt with many estate agents over the years Joe stands out as going above and beyond. For all these reasons I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe and Vivien Horder.

We were extremely happy with the service we received from all of the team at Vivien Horder Estate Agents. We accepted an offer on our house within days of it being listed at a price we were very happy with. We were able to reach someone from the team very easily at any time, even outside of office hours and the whole process of selling our house and buying our new one (also through Vivien Horder) was very straightforward and stress free.
I would thoroughly recommend Vivien Horder if you are looking for an estate agent in Dorset.

I can’t thank Vivian Horder enough for how they managed our house sale. From start to finish they were professional, courteous, honest and friendly. The house we were buying had quite a few conveyancing complications but Luke @ Vivian Horder went well over and above what he needed to, in order to support us and help progress the transaction. Most importantly, there was a time that I was very upset and Luke acted with such integrity and support it was like speaking with a friend. The majority of us don’t associate “estate agents” with honesty, integrity and friendliness but all the staff at Vivian Horder embody these attributes. Thank you all for all you’ve done and in helping us sell our beautiful first home to move to a larger family home. We are truly grateful for the effort you’ve put in. Our experience with Vivien Horder was nothing short of excellent. While it’s easy to write a glowing review after the keys are finally in hand, we would have shared the same positive feedback throughout the entire process. Although we met a few members of the team, we primarily worked with Joe Moore, and his communication was amazing. He was solution-focused, professional, and personable—which made the whole experience much smoother.
We chose Vivien Horder to sell our property and ended up buying through them as well. Looking back, we're so glad it worked out that way. Without their expertise and support, we might still be in the process of selling and buying now. They ensured our solicitors stayed on track by keeping things moving forward. Even during one of their busiest periods, we felt prioritised. We highly recommend Vivien Horder.

I had been trying to get back onto the market for many years and when I eventually found the right house (and all the planets aligned) Luke (and the team) were very helpful. I found the bigger high street agents very pushy (and they had priority customers who had mortgages with them) so to use VH you get that honest family run customer care. Totally recommended.

Do not buy on lady bailey residential park, or it’s run like a regime, The park owners staff are very aggressive and there is no community, a residential committee is not allowed as the residents are scared to commit to one. I live here and it’s not a welcoming place, that is driven by the park owner and his staff to enforce a non community atmosphere BEWARE YOU'VE BEEN ADVISED

David and the team at VH, absolutely went way and above the call of duty in assisting my purchase of a property listed with them in DT11.
The purchase was challenging due to my unhelpful solicitor, the property was unlisted and finally Co Vid.
I am convinced that without the trusted communication of David at VH and them pushing to keep everything on track the sale would have crashed.
David communicated to keep me up to date at every key stage, and was the vital go between for all parties. When problems came up he adopted a solution focused attitude to iron out any problems.

Vivien Horder have absolutely gone above and beyond in helping myself and my partner to purchase our first house, everyone was extremely helpful and professional.
The team supported us through the whole process, being first time buyers we were pretty clueless on what we needed to do and when we needed to do things, but they have been so helpful in guiding us through all the necessary stages and offering help even when it is outside of their role. They responded to emails very quickly and were always available when we needed to call them.
When we got the keys to our house it was also a lovely surprise to receive a bag of goodies and a card. I cannot recommend Vivien Horder highly enough and thank you so much!
