11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)Persuaded by them to change from another agent & wished we hadn't. Poor communication,- we constantly had to chase them for any information. Messages from us were not passed on. Often found information from them to be incorrect. Generally felt unsupported& uninformed.

Everyone at Goadsbys has been so professional, so helpful and so friendly and reassuring. The whole team has acted wisely throughout all the negotiations and guided us through some rough patches. We have been in good and safe hands throughout the marketing and the sale itself and we are delighted to be able to successfully move near our daughter early in the New Year. We could not have been more pleased with the service Goadsbys has given us and we highly recommend them. I shall miss the frequent, friendly contact!

Imogen was amazing when we went to view the property and managed to have a deal in place within an hour. Then Nicky has been amazing with the progression of the sale. Straight to the point with honest answers and always a phone call away if needed. Myself and partner are really pleased with the service 5*
15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Our experience with this agent was extremely disappointing and, frankly, shocking. We initially viewed the property with the vendor, and everything seemed positive. The house was listed just under £760k. At the time, our budget could stretch to around £700k (possibly slightly more). We were told this wouldn’t be enough as there was an offer of £725k on the table, although that buyer still needed to sell. On that basis, we stepped back. Several weeks later, after running the numbers again and while our own sale was uncertain, we increased our offer to £710k. After a lengthy phone conversation, the agent told us repeatedly that £725k was the figure required for a deal and that anything below this would not be considered. We were also told the vendor was thinking of withdrawing the property from the market until spring. Once our buyer had sold again, we managed to stretch to £725k and arranged a second viewing to finalise matters. During that viewing, the vendor was surprised to hear that £725k had been presented as an acceptable figure — she stated she had never told the agent she would accept this and was actually looking for much closer to £750k. When we raised this with the agent, they denied everything that had previously been said and refused to provide call recordings to clarify the situation. When pressed, the conversation became abrupt and the phone call was cut off. Had we simply been told from the start that the vendor wanted closer to £750k, we would have accepted that and made an informed decision. Instead, we were repeatedly told that £725k was the deal figure, only to later discover this was not true. This showed a serious lack of professionalism and transparency, wasted time, and caused unnecessary stress. My advice to anyone dealing with this agent is to record your own conversations. In our case, clear discussions were later denied and no call recordings were provided when requested.

My house sale unfortunately fell through on four separate occasions, and each time they acted quickly, professionally, and had it back on the market without delay. They managed to secure a new buyer every time, showing real dedication and persistence. Their communication, professionalism, and commitment were outstanding throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Meyers. A special mention to Paige, a huge credit to the company! Paige was absolutely fantastic though out a difficult and lengthy process.
18th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)Sarah Cull and here team were amazing and we were so pleased with the service we received. Nothing was too much trouble and after hours calls were never a problem. A special mention for Carola who carried out the viewings and was so respectful of our property. We had multiple offers in a difficult market and it took under 6 weeks from offer accepted to exchange - the buyers were a perfect match for our much-loved home. An excellent experience all round.

2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)We’ve had a really positive experience selling our house with Connells. From start to finish the process has felt smooth, professional and well managed. Robbie was excellent from the very beginning. He got the property to market quickly and generated strong interest straight away, which led to a fast sale. He was proactive, realistic and easy to deal with, which gave us confidence throughout. Lily has also been brilliant. She has done a great job supporting the process behind the scenes, keeping communication flowing between us and the solicitors and making sure nothing was left hanging. Having that level of coordination made a real difference and helped keep things moving. Overall, a genuinely pleasant experience. We would definitely recommend Connells to anyone looking to sell.

He passed all our questions onto the sellers and vice versa which made the process seamless. He also contacted our solicitor weekly for progress reports and delivered the information back to us which was so helpful. I would definitely recommend forum ????

The team were always friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout my tenancy. Communication was clear and consistent, and any issues that came up were dealt with promptly and efficiently.<br><br>I felt well looked after as a tenant and really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled. Very happy with the team and would definitely recommend them.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the very beginning, Emma was kind, understanding and incredibly supportive. After I explained our unfortunate circumstances and the need to move, she truly went above and beyond to help us. She arranged a viewing for us quickly and made what could have been a very stressful situation feel so much more manageable. Emma was professional, approachable and always kept us informed throughout the process. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and it was clear she genuinely cared about helping us find the right home. Stuart was a superstar through out the process and worked tirelessly to support the seller and indeed us and ensured the sale progressed as expected. He performed viewings without fault, went above an beyond and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Sadly we bought our forever home so we may not be using him anytime soon ????. Thanks Stuart.

20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)James and the team have been great from the offset. They have ticked all of the boxes. They are all professional, punctual and not afraid to pick up the phone and tell you how it is, which is a massive plus! I was advised to get in touch with them after being massively let down by another company and the difference in quality of service has been night and day! If you want to deal with genuine people who get the job done then give these guys a go! I have always been told that selling your house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things to do but I haven't found anything to be stressful with these guys, especially given how average the market is at the moment! 5* service, highly recommend!
