Our buying experience through WPR was easy and largely stress free. Initially, my wife and I dealt with John McConkey, and then Susy Brooks as our purchase progressed.
Throughout the whole buying process WPR were very professional while maintaining a friendly, flexible & approachable manner. Their communication is on point - fast and honest, and we were always kept up to date without having to chase for answers.
On the few occasions we visited the (Alton) branch in person the atmosphere was relaxed, organised and everyone knew who we were, why we were there and who we were there to see without us having to explain.
We would definitely recommend WPR to anyone thinking of buying or selling. They're on it.

We purchased our house in Four Marks through WPR this year. We found them to be hard working, conscientious, and Susy Brooks the their sales progressor was great. It makes a huge difference to a transaction to have a sales progressor on the team, particularly someone like Susy. We would recommend them.

*Updates at bottom*<br>I took a a time off work to view a rental offered by WPR. It had mold on almost every wall, the windows and doors were leaking with the seals clearly damaged and hanging out, the kitchen cabinets had doors hanging off and there was a extra bed in the living room. The mold was clearly a persistent problem in this unit because I could see where it had been previously painted over and come back again. No respect shown for the time or health of their potential tenants.<br><br>*Update*<br>After posting my review of my experience viewing a property currently offered by WPR (as of Feb 5th 2026) on Anstey road next to the doctor's surgery I received a email asking me to amend or remove my review. So I'm updating my review and including the email I received. The first thing I want to mention is the email is incorrect when it says the property was/is occupied. At time of viewing there was nothing but the furniture in the property the beds were striped and no personal belongings or food present. I understand mold and damp is a sensitive matter in a property because of it's serious health impacts on tenants. That is why I would not have viewed the property if I was informed if was currently affected by mold and damp. I don't see why tenent confidentialialy means perspective tenants can't be informed of the current condition of the property. Ether the agent had not checked the property before showing it or knowingly took a viewing for it when it was not ready for new tenants without informing perspective tenants. Both are unacceptable. Given the circumstances of the viewing, the condition of the property and the communication I've received from WPR I believe my review is truthful and reflective of the service me and my partner recieved.<br><br>Update 2<br>WPR flagged the photos attached to my review and had Google remove it supposedly because it contains private identiing information. The only identifying information was my name and the lettings managers name. Those details have now been removed. The property I viewed that caused my intail review is now no longer listed for let. I presume while it receives the mold remediation and kitchen repairs WPR said it would undergo.

So disappointed in WPR. Claimed that I would have no problems selling my house in the middle of town and had about 10 viewings in 5 months in a really boyant market. Could not even sell my home. One of the staff had not come equipped to give buyers information. Unaware of where my 2 parking spaces and the communal garden were. Would not recommend!

I can genuinely say that the staff at Warren Powell Richards are the best set of Estate Agents we've had. Everything about the service we've had from them has been on point. In fact, I can't think of one occasion where they've dropped the ball - be it in terms of providing us with feedback, helping us with our own property search and facilitating viewings around our limited availability. Other estate agents in Alton should take a leaf out of their book.
