Even though other agencies were doing more business in the Somerford area, I chose Welcome Homes because of the confidence and genuine passion James showed from the very first conversation — and that decision proved to be the right one. Cannot recommend MK Estates Iford enough! Just handed my keys back after 4 years of renting, having bought my first home. The team at MK Estates Iford are incredibly friendly and approachable. They know each tenant and property inside out, which makes all the touch points totally seamless - No excuses, ‘please hold’ or hands-offs whilst your property file is being dug out, it’s always right and personalised first time. Whenever I’ve had an issue, concern or even just a question, they’ve have always been incredibly hands-on, problem-solving everything with consideration and common sense. After months of stress and uncertainty Leah made the process extremely easy despite a few unavoidable hiccups along the way.
Leah was always on call, helpful, positive and proactive throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and she was also kind and supportive on a personal level.
I would never use another agent now, and would highly recommend Leah and her team for any sales or purchases.

Jamie and Leah could not have been kinder or more charming and I'm successfully settled in my new home, so a big thank you to them both. Why not the full five stars? I was selling a home with a smallish back garden and only one bathroom. We had many viewings prior to selling and I'm not sure that the prospective buyers were sufficiently aware of the 'down sides' to my home. I think that fewer viewings with eligible buyers who had viewed the property online would have made my selling a little easier.

We recently sold our house with the help of Leah and Jamie at MK Estates.
This was our second time working with Leah. Having bought our first home with her help 3 years earlier, there was no other estate agent we were interested in going back to.
Both Leah and Jamie did a great job with the viewings and as part of the package, they were able to arrange for some beautiful photographs that really showed our property at its best. Only issue we had was getting Toby the Collie to vacate his favourite seat!
Leah remained diligent, organised and honest with us for the remainder of the selling process. She dealt with unexpected curve balls from the buyer where information had not been disclosed and chased the less proactive parts of the chain to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.
We would recommend Leah and the team at MK Estates wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable estate agent.

Went into MK Estate Agents July 2020, Leah was very helpful friendly yet professional from the start. This was the 1st property we were about to sell and Leah could not have been more helpful. Selling a house during the pandemic has been a challenging and a slow process. Due to the stamp duty holiday and the many houses coming on the market at the same time, this has meant a lot of viewings for the MK team to manage. Leah and Jamie have been very professional and very knowledgeable during this busy and difficult period, showing the many clients around my property safely.
I have bought and sold many properties during my life and have never found the estate agents I have dealt with to be very good. However I am so impressed with MK estates, and they are the best estate agents I have ever dealt with.
As this is an independent estate agent , they give a very personal and friendly service and they work so hard. Leah has been dealing with the negotiations and issues around my sale and nothing is too much for her. She is an excellent communicator and all calls and emails are answered promptly. She has been dealing efficiently with solicitors, the buyer and tradesmen during my sale.
I thoroughly recommend MK estates and I shall be using this agency again in the spring to carry out two more sales for me. Thank you Leah and Jamie.

We had had a bit of a rough ride when trying to move before, but as soon as we signed up with MK we knew things were going to be different. Leah was absolutely amazing, it was like house hunting with a friend. She listened to everything WE wanted and just instinctively knew what we were looking for after our first meeting. I honestly cannot believe how hard this lovely lady works!
