Having failed to sell our property for well over a year we responded to a mailshot from Wilson Property. Marie couldn't believe how long we had been on the market. She assured us she would sell it. We were sceptical but had nothing to lose. With a few tweaks to the existing photos & new drone footage it wasn't long before she was receiving enquiries to view. Marie took care of all the viewings. After advising us to drop the price to be more realistic we received an offer which we were happy to accept. 8 weeks, 8 viewings, 1 offer, SOLD. Would be more than happy to recommend Wilsons to anyone who asks. If I could relate her to a well known brand it would be RONSEAL. Does exactly what it says on the tin.... Read more

I met Marie a few years ago now, and could immediately tell that she was different to other agents I had dealt with in the past. I have sold several prime properties in Edinburgh City Centre through national well known ‘prestige’ estate agencies over the years. And while they have always sold, I regularly had various problems and never walked away feeling completely satisfied. However, within 5 minutes of meeting Marie, I had decided that I didn’t want anyone else selling my property in future. And that feeling only got stronger and stronger as I progressed with my next sale - a prime City Centre property (£2m+). Marie was incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly patient; she didn’t apply any pressure in any way throughout the lengthy process I introduced her to and I valued that above anything. I had an extremely negative experience with Wilson's earlier this year. Marie was very good at selling to me before I signed, but did not deliver on her promises. I terminated due to breach of contract after three weeks. If you do go with her, especially if your property is on the lower end of the market, look very carefully at the wording of your contract before you sign anything.... Read more

I asked Wilson Property Group to sell my mum’s house to enable her to move into a retirement flat. Wilson’s were fantastic at every stage, even helping her finance the purchase of the new property, which gave us time to get the house ready for market. What is really important is having an agent who acts with ‘agency’ on your behalf, especially when things don’t go to plan. When it became clear that Mum’s buyer wasn’t going to be in a position to complete the purchase, Wilson’s immediately sprang into action. From putting the house back on the market, they had secured a new buyer within 6 days AND managed to negotiate a price that matched the original offer. Where do I begin? There are certain people who come into your life and everything changes. Marie from Wilson Property Group is one of such people. I call her our "Angel". Everyone needs a Marie in their life. Well Marie came to value a property we were renting at the time as our landlord wanted to sell. She was really friendly and asked me what our plans were next, out of over 10 people who came to value the property she and 1 other lady were the only two people who asked what next, but she took it a step further and I explained our circumstance to her, my husband working abroad so we havent been able to get a mortgage so we were looking to rent again. She then said she had a friend who did expert mortgages, she quickly made the connection and like they say the rest is history. From getting a decision in principle, to looking for a house, getting our offer accepted, getting the loan from the lenders, Marie was there every step of the way, she never left us for once second until we got our keys.
