A perfect way to rent. OK, so at Windsor Court we have mainly dealt with Tak, met Peter at one viewing and have dealt with Tracey from the office via email. We have rented a property on a year lease, the service, information, follow up, openness and clarity, plus attention to every detail from these guys has been faultless. **SOLD** not once but twice both within hours ! Peter and his team were great - the property was sold within hours of the first viewings. Communication was great with Tracey and Jemma keeping me updated with feedback and correspondence… even when the buyer pulled out. (Yes pulled out… a sellers nightmare) Peter picked up the pieces, remarketing the property and once again within hours on the same day the property was sold again. Peter and his team are fantastic. This was the first time I had ever let a property. Peter was friendly and extremely informative giving me the information to let the property. I was interested in a house being marketed by Windsor Court Properties. I speak to Peter Lambley. He seems nice. He tells me that although the asking price is £750,000, the owner would be interested in an offer. Sounds good. A week or so later me and my girlfriend view he property. It’s really nice. Peter is nice. He surprises us by saying that he thinks it’s only worth £695,000. This is encouraging, but also surprising. We leave, and shake hands. Later that afternoon we make an offer over the phone for £690,000. Peter sounds delighted and thanks us. He tells he will pass this on the seller. We’re very excited. Peter texts us the next day and blankly says it’s a no, and that the seller has been told by other agents that he can get £720,000 for it. Ooh those pesky ‘other agents’ I think to myself. I say we’ll leave it then. Peter texts me straight back - what can you do? he asks. I say we can do up to £700,000. Peter says he’ll speak again to the seller. The following Monday morning at 8.30, Peter sends me a text - he says that if we can make £705k it will be secured for us and will come off the market. We say yes we can do £705k. Peter says he will speak to the seller at 11am. I am thrilled. At 11am the property is showing as under offer. I am more thrilled. We tell family and friends. We tell our mortgage adviser. It’s ours!!! Hurray!!! About 2pm, my girlfriend is starting to be concerned that we’ve not had text or telephone confirmation. I’m more relaxed. Peter is a nice guy. At 4pm as nothing heard I call his mobile. No answer. We call the office, Peter is on appointments. I relax a little. I get a message from Peter he tells me he is heading back to the office and will call me. I’m worried. There’s no mention of our offer being accepted. I wait another hour. No word. I call his mobile. Peter answers. He’s curt with me. Tells me he is with clients and he’ll call me back. I’m very worried. He calls me back. He tells me that a higher offer has been received and accepted...and that he’s angry. I ask whether he spoke to the seller at 11am. He says he did and the sale was agreed to me. He then tells me he went straight out on a series of appointments for the rest of the day, and around midday another rival buyer called the office and made a higher offer, and this was immediately accepted. Peter tells me how angry he is. I tell him I’m more angry; angry and feeling like I’ve been played like a complete fool, right from the off. I will avoid Peter. I tried to give no stars but it doesn’t seem to have that option.... Read more

Rented house from Windsor court for 3 years and wouldn't recommend to anyone! Took me over a year to get some damp rooms sorted! Fitted radiater for back room and left pipes exposed and a large hole in wall extractor fan for kitchen tubing left exposes with another hole! Bathroom extractor fan exploded cos popping wasnt put in correctly so just filled with water! Manager came to look agreed thwy needed sorting and then heard nothing and was sick of chasing them! I have 2 young kids so this is hassle we didnt need!... Read more

I have not used Windsor Court Properties' services, but just want to share how kind the gentleman from this company was to me. It was my first day in Knaresborough, and in the early morning there were no taxis available near train station. As the Windsor Court Propwrties is close to rail station, I asked the gentleman working there where I can find a taxi. After giving a call to a taxi company and finding out that there are no available taxis, he gave me a lift! What a kind man! I believe the kindness is one of the determinants of the successful business as well, so I am sure they do a great job! And the fact that the office was open before 9am in small town is another indicator! Thanks a lot!... Read more

I have not used Windsor Court Properties' services, but just want to share how kind the gentleman from this company was to me. It was my first day in Knaresborough, and in the early morning there was on taxis available near train station. As the Windsor Court is close to rail station, I asked the gentleman where I can find a taxi. After realising that there are no available taxis, and another taxi company did reply to call, he gave me a lift! What a kind man! I believe the kindness is one of the determinants of the business as well, so I am sure they do a great job! And another fact that the office was open before 9am in small town is another indicator!
