And suddenly they email me ‘’ sorry flat gone’’
So unprofessional
I try to speak with the manager and they hung up on me….
They keep changing the viewing day and said i will be the first to see and 2 days after is gone
My advice don’t waist your time and dont trust Lillie most unprofessional person

I recently moved to the UK from Canada and assumed it would be a long and frustrating process to find a place to live. But with Wright’s, I had my own flat within two weeks. They were efficient, helpful, organized, professional, and friendly. Louise was great and any time I needed help or had any questions, she responded almost right away. I would recommend Wright’s to anyone looking to rent a flat in the area.

The whole team from Chloe the receptionist who was polite and courteous, James but especially Greg so helpful and always returning calls promptly. Wrights acted professionally at all times i would highly recommend them and if i need an Estate Agent in the future would not hesitate in contacting them again. A great service from selling to completing 8 weeks in total.

Unpleasant experience. They didn't offer online viewing or accommodation without a physical visit, despite my explanation that we're located three hours away from Hatfield. How could someone visit after three hours of travel, especially when a contract isn't guaranteed?

Think twice before letting your property out with this agent, they are absolutely useless. They have no communication between each other and also the tenants they find, they do not do enough research on. When there's an issue, they will pass the buck to one another. Paid a full management fee but felt like i was the person managing. I'm finally glad that i've got rid of them, don't even put yourself through it. I won't mention any names but i'm sure the people that are reading this, know who they are!

For months when living in a property, the shower wasn't working properly due to extremely low pressures. Upon complaining, they argued with me that the previous tenants hadn't complained and that they had thick hair so there shouldn't be a problem. Months later, after contacting one of the 4 tenants who never communicated that Wright's would be showing new people around the property, I came home noticing my door (that I always locked) had been unlocked. So upon touring the students round, when showing them the bathroom, someone could have gone in my room and stolen things as I hadn't tidied or hidden anything. I felt so embarrassed at the state of my room, as I would have otherwise cleaned it. We then got an email complaining at the state of the rooms as well as the smell in the property. I emailed back saying that we couldn't wash properly, and one of my housemates was working with fibreglass and hazardous materials so needed to wash properly, but couldn't. It took weeks of complaining and my family had to call up in the end, for them to actually let the landlord know. It was constant backchat, so they didn't have to tell the landlords anything, so they could keep the landlord's custom.
Also, when we went to leave, covid had just hit, so we paid rent without any complaints, and things like, the water in the toilet that had sat there and the water changed colour slightly was picked up, and they were charging us loads for that. It was lots of small complaints, where we had left it in the state we arrived in...

This has been a long drawn out sale doted with twists and turns but can't fault David and Ronan who started the process which was later taken over by James and Verity who saw it through. They were all professional in their approach at all times.
I was kept informed at all stages - I found this reassuring. There was no pressure from them at any time.
Not forgetting the receptionists who were always polite and courteous and didn't make one feel like a bother.
Should I need services of Estate Agents in future, I will not hesitate using Wrights Estate Agents (Hatfield) again.

Worst estate agency I ever meet! We moved out of the house almost 6 weeks ago, on 14 June 2022 and they still refuse to refund us the deposit money, making all sort of false claims that the grass was not trimmed in the garden-even if we do have proof that we trimmed when we left and have the initial inventory pictures to prove , that the curtains were not fitted on the tracks, that we broke the shed locks even though the shed never had any functional locks.... When we call them for the deposit money they say that we have to talk to DPS , but they don't respond to the claims on DPS website. They claim that they are impartial but clearly that took the landlord's side as the landlord has another 8 houses rented by this agency so they obviously don't want to lose this landlord so they try to keep our deposit money for the landlord. It's a shame that an estate agency plays this dirty after we have lived in the same house for 5 years and not even one day delayed with the monthly payments!!! So tenants must be aware of this agency!

***UPDATE*** attempted to charge £70.00 cleaning fees when property was vacated, I had personally cleaned this property. Fees reduced to £20.00 when a query was raised.
NB - I am not a professional cleaner and may have missed something but £70.00 was and attempt to swindle money from my daughter, £20 was acceptable.

I have used a few estate agents in Hatfield and decided to move forward with Writes to sell my investment property.
I bought the house from Writes 15 years ago, and after we agree a good price for them to sell it, it was on the market and under offer in no time!
They are a very professional team, quick to respond, know the market and handled everything well. Exchanged and completed within circa a month.
Dealt with the Covid situation and tenants well, loved the 3D pics, featured the property on Rightmove and other property portals and most importantly, a great bunch to work with.
No complaints, highly recommended and will happily use again.

I decided to use Wrights’s to sell my property as I had great recommendations from people who had already used them. I’m very pleased I made that decision.
Every call and email I made was answered immediately with constant updates on the progress of my sale. They couldn’t be more helpful and professional at all times. As my property was not occupied at the time while on the market they would even go and check it each week to give me piece of mind. If the agent looking after my property was away on holiday other agents would always still be able to give me regular updates .
If you want a reliable, professional, friendly service then without a doubt I couldn’t recommend wrights in Hatfield enough.

I had a horrible experience with Wrights of Hatfield. As an oversea landlord they made my life miserable.
1. Response was always SLOW, I need to follow-up multiple times. If they get back to you in 3 days consider yourself lucky.
2. They liked to replace a lot of things, for example, they suggested that the curtain needs to be replaced and quoted me £650 pound. I found a handy man who did it for £150 including materials.
3. The tenants left the flat in a disaster status (see photos), when Wrights supposed to perform status check on a frequent basis.
3. They let my flat sit there empty for months, kept telling me on one was interested. I switched to Strats, they got me a tenant within a week.

Arranged to see a house at the very last moment and Meghan went out of the way, to sort everything out quickly and efficiently. Andrew, met us and showed us around the house. Both myself and my partner thought he was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, informative, knew about the house, the owner, the area AND the neighbours/planning etc. He was super polite and super friendly. He also offered many solutions and suggestions to issues with the house etc. Even my hard to please Mum (80yrs old, still scary) told me he was the best Estate Agent she'd experienced! Enough said really!

During the course of the transaction we had dealings with David , Andrew and Megan. They were all very professional and polite.
When at one point problems with a chain arose and the deal was close to collapsing (none of their fault), they acted calmly and did a great job trying to save it and mediating between all involved.

Was told I had a viewing booked on a Friday. Caught a 2 hour train to view said house. Upon calling the estate agents I was told there was infact no viewing booked in their diary and was told to come tomorrow instead. Huge inconvenience as I travelled a long journey. Will not be contacting for service again.

I used this business to manage the letting of a property because I often work overseas. However, I had to stop using them because of repeated failures, including:
- collecting the full rent owed from tenants but not paying the full amount owed to me
- forgetting to collect the right rent after a notified rise in the monthly amount
- posting letters to my home address that demanded I reply to them within a week, or else they would levy unnecessary charges for unwanted additional services
My tenants also indicated Wrights gave a lacklustre response to queries. On several occasions I needed to get personally involved in the arrangement of repairs and the replacement of white goods even though I was paying Wrights for a 'fully managed' service.

I rented from them for a year. They were always quick to respond and fix any problems. There were some issues with the house at the beginning of the tenancy, but these were seen to with no fuss. I would definitely recommend them and rent from them again.
