I have never had worse experience with estate agents in my life. Allison the manager had me in tears. She was condescending and extremely rude and kept telling me how wonderful she is and my house is so bad. She kept insisting I go for the modern method of auction and when I said no, she became very rude. I was told by several agents it is not the right way to sell my property which I knew. She really upset me as I have special circumstances and did the best I could. Needless to say I will go with other agents.

We lost 31000 by using the modern auction method, on their original valuation. The modern auction in England, unlike Scotland work ps in reverse. Do not be persuaded into using this method. They seem to favour getting the lowest price for the buyer, as opposed to maximising money for the seller. As we live remote from the property, we entrusted their expertise, and professionalism, to look after the property in our absence . However, on visiting the property for insurance purposes, we found the toilet had been broken, it was full of excrement, and stale urine, there was damage to model boats that had been left, and a Leatherman tool that had been left was missing. When a complaint was made the Ilkeston branch manager. Her excuse was. “One of your neighbours, must have come in and used the facilities, and taken the opportunity to remove the tool“. I hope I never have to use Rightmove again. Either to buy, or sell

Unfortunately our experience of your move Ilkeston was absolutely shocking. Perhaps this was because we were renting a property so were not classed as important as those purchasing/selling through the agents.
We moved into the property and the boiler was broken. Whilst I recognise this is not the agents fault, due to their awful communication and lack of progression we were without a working boiler for around 2 months. We ended up arranging the boiler being fixed directly with our landlords, and we found out Your Move were blaming the lack of movement on the other party to each other.
Your move then didn’t contact us when our contract was expired. They automatically put us on another year contract and also increased our rent by £20 (which was perfectly acceptable) but neglected to tell us. Funnily enough they were straight in touch to let us know that we owed £20 but were ignoring my emails about being put on another year contract rather than a rolling contract.
When we moved out from the property, which is why I am now writing this review, it took nearly 2 months for them to return our deposit which was a substantial amount of money. The amount of emails and calls I made to try and get this resolved were ignored and never actioned. The amount of stress this caused when buying a property and needing this money was ridiculous.
The only genuinely helpful member of staff that supported us was Lauren Bormanis who I can’t thank enough.
We found Alison incredibly rude and uninterested in everything when we had to deal with her but everyone else in the office seemed polite.
I would strongly advise avoiding this estate agents if you are renting.

I cannot thank Your Move enough. In particular Liam and Abbey at the Ilkeston Office who exeeeded expectations time and again.
We had a buyer pull out at after 6 months then the house we were purchasing fell through and like magicians they pulled more offers out of the hat.
They became phsycotherapists as I felt like I was loosing my mind and helped me navigate all the stress of a very long and difficult process. None of the problems we experienced were related to Your Move and all agreed this was a very unusual and fraught 18 months.
We moved into our new home 3 weeks ago and are very very happy this would not have happened wihout Abbeys encouragement to keep going and Liam patiently talking me through my frustrations. Cant wait to see them both at the house warming next summer when all the work is finished as I actually miss our conversations (but maybe we could talk about something else).
So if your contemplating selling your house then this has to be your first choice. We have used four different estate agents in the past and without doubt Your Move are the front runners by a thousand miles. THANK YOU Liam and Abbbey and the rest of the your move team.

Chose Yourmove to sell my house because they were very personable. When Abby came to do the valuation, she listened and took notice of what I wanted from the sale and what kind of buyer I hoped for. They had the mammoth task of selling my house in 4 days and they did it in 24 hours like absolute heroes. During the sale, Emma was honest, open and extremely professional. Times were tense as it was not a smooth transition between houses but Emma remained calm, helpful and always had my back. Towards the end when the pressure was mounting, Emma remained vigilant, supportive and, again, incredibly professional. My wife chose Your Move to sell our house and WOW did it sell quickly!! Wanted to buy a property a few weeks back and went for a visit hosted by Phoebe who didn't know the property. She mentioned it while showing us the inside of the property and had no idea about the outside space. She advised that she will find the information and let us know ASAP which obviously never happened. We place an offer without knowing exactly what we were buying and we did so at a lower price so we can leave space for negotiation. We had to push and chase for property details and also for the offer outcome just to be told that our offer was too low and with no scope of further negotiations. At that point we raised a complaint with Chloe against Phoebe and the branch's lack of professionalism but guess what... Apart from a discussion in a branch meeting and a phone call from the branch manager trying to put the blame on anything else but the agent, nothing else happened.
Do not expect anything good from these guys. They will just act based on commission and will not work in the seller's or buyer's advantage!!!

We came to Your Move following a very difficult experience with our previous Estate Agent who had made us a lot of promises but failed to deliver on them.
Your Move sold the after a month. Their staff are always courteous and helpful. Also they always respond to messages which is very different to our previous Estate Agents.
They kept us updated on the progress of the sale and our buyers said that they were more helpful than their own Estate Agents.
The only negative comments I would make is to say don't use their solicitors- Premier Property Lawyers who I would not recommend. Fortunately we were able to leave them as we had not signed the contract so we used a local solicitor instead who was very good.

Bought a property through YourMove, they were always very friendly, quick to respond and communicated clearly and efficiently. Had some difficulty with my solicitor not being the most pro active/best at communicating but they were very understanding and did what they could to help push the sale along.
Good use of virtual tour when I first viewed the property and good use of the Mio app which helps keep in touch easily through the sale.

I had already been on the market for 4 months with another local agents, who were absolutely awful. I went to Your Move and spoke to Alison (the manager) about the problems I had had with the other agents. She understood and I felt reassured that going with Your Move would be better. I was absolutely right.
Alison and her team work tirelessly to sell my property, one sale fell through at the last minute due to the buyer pulling out, Alison and her team kept me constantly informed of what was happening, they were honest with me and they were back on it immediately... I sold again within 3 days. Rebecca was on the ball chasing up the sale with solicitors... they really were brilliant.

Just another greedy estate agency. Wanted to book a viewing for a house for sale in Ilkeston. After not receiving any reply decided to call the agency and ask what's going on. The agent was obviously acting dumb and after eventually ''finding'' my inquiry started emailing me with offers for other houses and asked if I would like to speak to their mortgage adviser. She said she had called the seller but the call had gone straight to voicemail. Obviously that seller doesn't wanna sell his house, cause I never got back from them. After refusing to go and meet their mortgage adviser I was of not importance for them. So obviously there are two options here. Either the advert is a bogus one keeping it for attracting potential clients, or they are in breach of the Code of Practice for Estate agencies. Whatever the reason for my experience with them I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. The seller will waste time and money using them, the buyer will lose money and nerves. Your move is to NOT use YOUR MOVE!!!

I'm going to share my experience with you about these cowboys they must be the worst estate agents in the universe .The so called manager called Alison obnoxious arrogant talks over you in conversation is the worst also she's rude aswelll and thanks for letting me know that my sellers which you were acting for had pulled out of the sale on the same day you had put the house back up for sale cheers for that .AVOID these I'm telling you so unprofessional was buying a 194500 pound house and they still found the timer to talk to you like SHIT

We have used Your Move for the sale of our house, and cannot tell you how fantastic the service has been throughout. We were originally on with another agent for 3 months which resulted in next to no viewings, within 2 weeks of being on with Your Move we had more viewings and within 3 weeks we had an offer. They understood we needed to move quickly and have acted very proactively to do this. I cannot fault the service so far.
Once sold they don't forget about you either, they actively ring the solicitors and other Agents in the chain, it really does take the stress away which is fantastic.

Your Move rented a house next door to me for a landlord in Ilkeston to a pair of disrespectful party goers. I can't see how they conducted any checks on this pair as Iv had nothing but noise pollution since they moved it, partying until 3am, swearing, shouting and mess in their back yard which can be seen from my property.

Be very Careful of this Company if you are selling your house.
1) They overvalue to get your business : They valued the property at 120K but managed to only attract offers of 90K & 100K, naturally we did not take any offers
2) They have a withdrawel fee regardless if they sell: after 16 weeks and no better offers we decided to rent the property, we were told by that it was 16 weeks but neglected to mention cancellation fee regardless if they sell the property at £300.
Please be careful and get other advice from other estate agents before using Your Move in Ilkeston
