My experience with Aston & Co in Wigston was extremely disappointing from start to finish.<br><br>The overall attitude of the team came across as cold, unapproachable and insincere. It felt as though once the sale was progressing, customer service became an afterthought. My impression was that the focus was entirely on completing the sale rather than treating buyers with respect.<br><br>Our dealings with Rob were particularly unpleasant. From the moment he showed us around the property to the day we collected the keys, I found him rude, dismissive and unwelcoming. Collecting the keys should have been an exciting moment, but instead it felt as though he couldn’t wait for the interaction to be over. He handed them over with no warmth or professionalism, leaving us feeling like an inconvenience. Also I have to mention, as a person of colour, I personally felt uncomfortable during our interactions with him. While I can’t speak to his intentions, I did not feel welcomed or treated with the level of respect I would expect as a customer.<br><br>We were also frustrated to discover certain issues with the property that we were not made aware of before completion. Whether or not the seller informed Aston & Co, I believe an estate agent should carry out a thorough inspection of the properties they market and make prospective buyers aware of any obvious damage or issues. Greater transparency would have made a significant difference to our experience.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Aston & Co. Buying a home is one of the biggest milestones in life, and every buyer deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism and respect.
