Extremely poor experience dealing with DJ Alexander over an ongoing rat infestation.<br><br>The property has had an active rat problem, with rats causing damage to electrical wiring. The electrician has confirmed they will not attend while the infestation remains untreated because of the safety risk to their staff. Despite this, I have been told the property is habitable.<br><br>There has also been significant back-and-forth over who is responsible for dealing with internal and external proofing. I was initially told that external proofing across the tenement could take months, while the internal proofing was the main issue. Only after continued complaints has internal proofing now been raised.<br><br>I have also been provided with a pest-control report containing an incorrect property address and contact details that do not appear to work, which has made it difficult to independently verify the report.<br><br>The situation has now been escalated to Glasgow City Council Environmental Health and Housing through my local councillor.<br><br>Overall, I have found the handling of this issue extremely frustrating. I am paying rent for a property where there has been an ongoing rat infestation, damage to electrical wiring and unresolved issues affecting the kitchen, while I have had to repeatedly chase for basic answers and action.
