Would recommend a survey before you rent a place from here because it might just save your life.
They rent dangerous, unfit for purpose properties with no regard for families health even when they are hospitalised through lack of repairs.

Recently sold a property through Gowland White, Stockton. All the staff were very friendly and kept in regular contact. Staff were knowledgeable and gave sound advice throughout. Valuation of the property was realistic and based on sound research (unlike other agents). Selling fees were very competitive. Particular thanks to Demi.

We purchased a property advertised by Gowland White and I found them to be extremely professional throughout. Unlike the solicitor, the aftersales team were very proactive in chasing things up and keeping me informed at every stage of the process. When I finally picked up the keys on completion day I was very surprised but delighted to be given a 'welcome to your new home' gift, which I thought was a generous and thoughtful touch.

Honestly, if I could lower the stars any further, I would. These guys are absolutely terrible. They threatened my tenants with harassment, told me the property wasn’t damaged when it was (they hadn’t been to see it). They then tried to rent it damaged (severely) for four months before they rented it. The new tenants then informed me durectly about the damage and I had to get it fixed. they then ripped me off upon exit of contract due to their breach Every tenant I had complained about their service and poor communication. It took a month to find out the tenants were having issues at some points. Do not go with these guys as you just get ripped off, lose rental return and end up managing it yourself regardless. I have since had to take them to court for the losses.
