Very happy with the service we received from the team at Hamilton Piers when selling our property. The whole team made a very stressful time much easier and we cannot thank them enough from start to finish especially after having had a bad experience with another local estate agent. From start to finish the team were always happy to help with any queries we had and nothing was too much trouble, we always felt as though they were working to get us the best outcome. We would definitely recommend this company.

I purchased my house through Hamilton Piers Braintree and while they were polite to deal with they told me 2 major things about my house that were completely incorrect and have cost me thousands of pounds to sort, which I obviously hadn't budgeted for. This is extremely disappointing as when you're showing someone round a house to sell its very important they know what is working properly and what will need replacing. I was told with confidence by the estate agent that the boiler was just 2 years old, but when I had it serviced the gas engineer immediately could see it was in fact 14 years old, falling apart and leaking! The replacement of this cost £3,000 that I hadn't planned on spending on my '2 year old boiler'. They also told me the loft was completely boarded, and upon opening the loft today to store my bits it is not boarded at all! Again another piece of important information that I was told which has turned out to be completely untrue. I would not recommend Hamilton Piers to anyone unfortunately as I think telling people completely false information to sell a property is really bad practice and I am now paying the price for believing what I was told during my viewings! Overall a really disappointing experience.

I have just bought a property through Hamilton Piers of Springfield and Chelmsford and it has been such a positive experience from start to finish. The staff I have dealt with (Sophia and Sarah) have been kind, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with throughout and they have kept me fully updated at every stage. I am moving from Kent to their area and, if in the future, I sell the property I have just purchased through them, I would only be interested in engaging them to market and sell the property. I have nothing but the highest praise for the professionalism and kindness they have shown me.

We used a Hamilton Piers to sell our flat after having two previous companies try and fail. They were straight up and honest with everything and help as much as possible. When we accepted an offer and got put through to Sarah we could not fault her work in anyway she kept the ball rolling and always stayed in contact as well as being there for any questions we had. I highly recommend using Hamiltons for your sale
