I purchased my house through Hamilton Piers Braintree and while they were polite to deal with they told me 2 major things about my house that were completely incorrect and have cost me thousands of pounds to sort, which I obviously hadn't budgeted for. This is extremely disappointing as when you're showing someone round a house to sell its very important they know what is working properly and what will need replacing. The replacement of this cost £3,000 that I hadn't planned on spending on my '2 year old boiler'. They also told me the loft was completely boarded, and upon opening the loft today to store my bits it is not boarded at all! Again another piece of important information that I was told which has turned out to be completely untrue. I would not recommend Hamilton Piers to anyone unfortunately as I think telling people completely false information to sell a property is really bad practice and I am now paying the price for believing what I was told during my viewings! Overall a really disappointing experience.... Read more
