Warning: Avoid! I urge anyone considering Home Truths to proceed with extreme caution. At a minimum, you’d expect honesty, professionalism, and clear communication during a property transaction. Unfortunately, none of these were evident in our experience. We were overlooked for viewings and not contacted when the property unexpectedly came back on the market. It was only by chance—a friend spotted it online—that we realised it had been relisted. Despite submitting a formal offer on two separate occasions (both verbally and in writing), it was not passed to the seller until several days later. This unacceptable delay compromised our position and, quite possibly, the seller’s opportunity to secure a better deal. The communication throughout was poor, and we were left chasing answers while being in a strong buying position. It’s deeply frustrating to think the seller may never have been made aware that a faster—and potentially higher—offer was on the table.... Read more
