Despite obtaining advice from multiple independent sources, including Citizens Advice, the local council and an independent solicitor, all of whom advised that tenants have legal rights that should be considered, I felt that my concerns were repeatedly dismissed rather than properly addressed.<br><br>I found this particularly distressing. Instead of receiving clarity and reassurance, I was left trying to navigate a complex and evolving area of tenancy law on my own.<br><br>The entire experience left me feeling extremely stressed, overwhelmed and, at times, completely helpless. I genuinely felt that I had nowhere to turn despite making every effort to understand my rights and responsibilities as a tenant. Unfortunately, important information about changes to tenancy rules and notice requirements was never clearly communicated to us. We only became aware of these issues when we had already started making arrangements to move.<br><br>The result was unnecessary stress, confusion and potentially significant additional costs that could have been avoided with clearer guidance from the outset.<br><br>Throughout the process, communication felt reactive rather than proactive. We often had to chase for information ourselves rather than being properly advised on matters that directly affected our tenancy.<br><br>What concerned me most was the inconsistent advice we received regarding notice periods and tenancy obligations.
