Worst services , SJ smith team never provide support on the maintenance issues, I have been struggling to get washing machine issue resolved from over 3 weeks but there is no positive response from their end. They had committed to resolved any issue within a weeks time but that’s never been the case. Highly disappointed with their services and never recommend.

SJSmith Estate Agents were fantastic from start to finish. They supported us throughout our recent house purchase and made the whole process feel smooth and well managed.
As first-time buyers using Islamic finance, the process involved additional contracts, lending structures and enquiries — some of which were new to them as well. Despite this, the team were incredibly patient, supportive and encouraging every step of the way. They approached everything with professionalism, openness and a genuine willingness to help.

We’ve just had a worst experience with SJSmith letting agency! Please do not rent from them. Absolute nightmare. They took a £500 holding deposits. Assured us property is held for us. We passed our references then they gave the property to someone else and said because we couldn’t move in sooner. I have proof they confirmed the date we could move in, I gave notice to my landlord. They have caused so much stress. Most rubbish agency I’ve ever dealt with.

I had a very positive experience with S J Smith in Ashford.
What stood out most was their professionalism and consistency throughout the process. Even at moments when things felt tense or pressured (as house moves often do), the team remained calm, neutral, and steady - which makes a real difference when you’re navigating something significant.
Communication was clear, measured, and reliable, and I always felt the process was being handled with care and integrity. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent who stays professional from start to finish.

I had a great experience with SJ Smith from start to finish. They were incredibly quick in finding a buyer for my property, which made the whole process far less stressful than I expected.
A special mention to Simon Smith who was fantastic throughout — professional, responsive, and always on hand to keep things moving smoothly.
I’d also like to thank Rob for his excellent advice and in-depth knowledge of the area where I was purchasing my new house. His guidance was really valuable and gave me a lot of confidence in my decision.
Highly recommend SJ Smith to anyone looking to sell or buy a property!

The whole Staines branch were fantastic, in particular Spencer who conducted most of the viewings, he was able to give me immediate feedback on first impressions of potential buyers, a very charismatic person who engages people well!
Amir for reassuring me every step of the way and the move managers for such excellent communication with bytes and solicitors.
A really efficient set up hence it is the second purchase I have made with this company. Thank you!
