Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Lack of Reliability<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sarah Mains. We started the rental process for a property, submitted all the required documents, and successfully passed the referencing and credit checks conducted through Rightmove.<br><br>However, just two days before our planned moving date, an agent named Laura informed us that the landlord had decided not to proceed with the tenancy. By that point, we had already made significant arrangements for the move, paid advance costs, and even secured school admissions for our children near the property.<br><br>This sudden decision caused our family considerable stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. We had organised everything in good faith, trusting that the process was progressing as expected.<br><br>To make matters worse, we were informed that the holding deposit could not be refunded, leaving us in an extremely difficult situation despite having done everything required of us.<br><br>A family relocation is not a small matter, especially when children and school admissions are involved. I believe a letting agency should communicate responsibly, handle the process professionally, and treat prospective tenants fairly.<br><br>I would not recommend Sarah Mains to anyone based on my experience. The lack of reliability and the way this situation was handled have completely undermined my trust in the agency.<br><br>I sincerely hope they improve their service and treat future tenants with greater consideration and transparency.

Excellent service from all the staff at Sarah Mains. Special mention to our sales progression team Jane Toberty and Donna Bell who were outstanding. Communication from them was brilliant and they were very helpful when there were a few obstacles we had to deal with.<br>From our initial valuation and viewing of properties to the completion of our sale and also our purchase all staff helped us as much as possible and went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend them.

I had a really positive experience with Sarah Mains. They were professional, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Communication with Laura was excellent, and she was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns.<br><br>They made the whole letting process straightforward and stress-free, keeping me informed at every stage. Staff were just exceptional with supporting us with our first move. Lindsey & chloes support just made the moving a stress free experience. Heather was so supportive in allowing and arranging further time to view the property again. She was so accommodating & friendly when meeting us and made the experience even more exciting. I'd highly recommend anyone looking to move to use sarah mains whickham as the team are just lovely and very professional & make the effort to go above. Thank you all.

Absolutely fabulous service from Donna Bell in Sales & Progression. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she's an STAR.<br>Professional & friendly, always kept you updated. Would definitely recommend.

It was a very pleasing customer experience dealing with Sarah Mains. My appreciation goes to Scott who met me at my property and gave a very informative overview of the rental market and knowledge of the local area and also Lindsey from the Sarah Mains office who provided me with informative updates regarding the viewings and tenant.
