Recently purchased a property through this branch of Screetons and had really disappointing service. From the start they didn’t seem motivated to sell the property at all and handled the offer process very poorly. The offer hadn’t even been put forward (was later accepted so was reasonable), we had to chase for this to be put to the vendor and then chase for a response.
They then gave numerous false information down the line presumably to keep the purchase going and would answer questions about the property when they didn’t know the true answer - one being in relation to a gas appliance which is a safety aspect. I’d asked them to listen to their calls as it was unfair to be working this way and they responded that they aren’t recorded so I would assume that they choose to be deceiving quite often. At no point was any responsibility taken, they simply say ‘it is what it is.’ They were aware that a lone and older gentlemen was moving into the property a week before Christmas and these lies had an adverse effect on him which is far from decent nevermind a provided service.
Nobody bothered with the keys being handed over - they didn’t even chase the solicitors, they just ‘wondered’ when they’d be released… despite them being ready to go. The staff here are either slack, careless or conniving in our experience.
We wouldn’t ever buy or sell through this agent again but I would hate for someone else to have such a bad experience using them.

They didn't inform us at the beginning that they can only send texts. I sent a text,I didn't receive a reply so I phoned them.

If I could rate it 0 I would!! Came out did an Valuation said she would get back to me that day and she didn’t that was Monday. Absolute time wasters!!

Screetons' Goole team were absolutely excellent throughout the whole sale process. Very pleased with the photography and marketing details produced, the efficiently arranged viewings and prompt follow up and feedback, and the ease of communication at every stage; I wholeheartedly recommend Screetons' services - superb!
