If I could give 0 stars, I would. My partner and I have unfortunately rented through Knights for the past three years and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Firstly, whenever we reported issues with the property, it was very difficult to reach someone who could actually provide a solution. We constantly had to chase them with follow-up calls and emails, even for simple issues such as the blinds not working. Basic maintenance requests took far longer than they should have because communication from the team was poor. The most frustrating part, however, has been dealing with the lettings team regarding our deposit. We moved out of the property almost 11 weeks ago and still have not received it back. The lettings team never contacted either myself or my partner with an update about the deposit, so we had to reach out to them ourselves. We have called and emailed more than seven times just to get an update, and each time we receive the same responses: “We don’t know,” “I don’t deal with deposits,” or “We will get back to you.” Because of the lack of progress, we raised a dispute directly with the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme), and the agents were given a deadline to respond. Instead of communicating with us once the dispute had been confirmed, they waited until the deadline to raise any issues. As a result, we are still waiting for our deposit nearly three months after moving out. Overall, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering renting through this company think twice. In our experience, they are not proactive, they repeatedly make excuses for unresolved issues, and unless you constantly chase them, almost daily, they will simply delay matters, including returning your deposit.... Very disappointing experience dealing with this letting agent, particularly Emma, during the return of my tenancy deposit. I moved out over two months ago and still have not received my deposit back. Even the undisputed portion has been repeatedly delayed despite being acknowledged as owed. Each step of the process seems to require chasing for updates, with responses either coming very late or only after multiple follow?up emails. What should be a straightforward process has been unnecessarily dragged out. The advice given around deposit deductions was also concerning and appeared to go against the basic principles of tenancy deposit law. Deductions were being justified in ways that did not seem to reflect actual loss, and when I questioned this the responses were vague and dismissive rather than transparent. Throughout the process it has felt less like a professional service and more like a game of delay and pressure, particularly because I did not agree with the deductions being proposed. Instead of dealing with the situation fairly, the process has been prolonged while I continue waiting for money that legally belongs to me. Tenants should expect clear communication, accurate guidance on deposit rules, and a fair and neutral approach when disputes arise. Unfortunately my experience with this agency was the opposite. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and to ensure everything is documented carefully if you rent through them.... Read more

I’ve sold and purchased several properties in Stamford, and working with Claire Ramsden at Knight Partnership has genuinely been my best experience yet. From the first conversation, her communication was clear, friendly, and always one step ahead. She kept everything moving quickly and smoothly, and her determination took all the stress out of the process. Estate agents often get a bad reputation, but Claire is the complete opposite — warm, professional, and absolutely on top of her game. She made the whole journey feel effortless, and I’m genuinely grateful for how well she handled everything.... Read more
