We have had such a brilliant experience with selling our property with Bonnie from Simpson and Marwick. From the first time she came to visit, she was very professional and organised and had already done research on our area, she was very well prepared. Bonnie ensured a quick turn around for us getting our property on the market throughout with efficient communication with everyone involved. She gave great advice on selling points and on the offers over price for putting on the market. When we had queries at different points in our sale, she was very understanding, supportive and patient with us and helped us feel happy with how we proceeded. She was very easily contactable and responded quickly to any questions. We would highly recommend working with Bonnie and will definitely come back to her if need be in the future. The whole team were great with organising viewings etc. Thank you Bonnie and team!

Although Simpson and Marwick is an expensive company, all the team at North Berwick were excellent in handling my sale, very friendly and helpful, especially Nicky and Charlotte Murray.

Dick and I could not have had anyone better than Nikki Hempseed on hand to sell our house . She was always there for us giving sound advice and encouragement and was totally unflappable. She knows the Aberdeen market , the builders, decorators, gardeners but more importantly she got to know us and our needs. Nothing was too much trouble for Nikki. We cannot commend her enough, a total professional who went over and beyond in what she did . She also has a lovely sense of humour. Thank you Nikki. Sylvie and Dick

Would wholeheartedly recommend the team at Simpson & Marwick Aberdeen. I was delighted with the sale of my 8 properties this week. Nikki did a fantastic job of finding a buyer, and keeping the deal progressing, with fantastic communication. Joni and her team in conveyancing were brilliant in getting the deal over the line.

(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.)
It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace.
I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner.
I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.
