We can't speak highly enough of Spencers Wigston. The entire team is oustanding.<br><br>Shaniya, our Sales Negotiator, was second to none! She was proactive, responsive and an excellent communicator throughout the sales process.<br><br>We firmly believe that this sale would have fallen apart if it were not for Shaniya’s tenacity. She truly made us feel like we were her only customer. Nothing was too much trouble, and when she said she would do something she did it, and regularly exceeded expectations even in the most challenging circumstances.

Having recently completed our sale and purchase, we're incredibly grateful to the team at Spencers for helping us get there.<br><br>From the outset, Mike was honest, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in advising us on the best approach to our sale. What stood out even more was his willingness to act as a sounding board and offer advice on the property we were purchasing, despite it not being a Spencers listing. His guidance gave us confidence throughout the process that we were pitching our sale at the right level (and ensuring we were not overpaying too much on our purchase!).<br><br>Once our sale was agreed, we found ourselves in an exceptionally slow-moving chain with several periods where the whole transaction felt at risk. It was during these challenging moments that Spencers really demonstrated their value.<br><br>Were are especially grateful to Shaniya, whose perseverance, persistence, and determination were instrumental in getting everything over the line. She consistently went above and beyond, chasing progress, keeping everyone informed, and fighting our corner when others seemed unable to move things forward. During the most critical stages of the transaction, her efforts were invaluable.<br><br>Buying and selling property can be incredibly stressful, but knowing we had such a dedicated team supporting us made all the difference. I used mortgage advisor Cem to get onto the property ladder.<br>Cem has been a great support during a very difficult process, answering every query and worry call/email; being honest and upfront which has helped me to learn and develop my knowledge of the market process and still remaining supportive and positive for me with what I had chosen.<br>I was able to trust Cem to do what was best for me and my circumstances; changing the mortgage deal to get me a better rate. I am not worrying so much about what money I have leftover.<br>Furthermore, Cem has encouraged a meeting next year to plan ahead for my mortgage renewal. This helps my neurodiverse brain; no last minute stress and pressure if it was left until last minute and, helps me to financial plan.<br>Thank you Cem for all your help.

Our experience with Spencers was extremely disappointing. We were not informed that the property was subject to probate, despite this being important information that should have been made clear from the outset. This led to avoidable inconvenience and additional expense.<br><br>After raising a formal complaint, the matter was handled by Connells' customer relations team rather than the Spencers branch. They investigated our concerns thoroughly and ultimately resolved the complaint to our satisfaction by providing a full refund, for which we are grateful.<br><br>While I appreciate the way Connells handled the complaint, it does not change our experience with Spencers. I hope the branch improves its communication so future buyers are given key information at the earliest opportunity.

Big shout out to Mia from the viewings team, she was really friendly and helpful on my viewings and was always early to the appointment, a credit to Spencers thank you :)<br><br>I actually bought the property with Spencers, everyone was really friendly and helpful! Shout out to Shaniya I will keep the beautiful light fittings from my house for you! Haha x

The valuer was very good and very positive. However, we only had one viewing in 3 months and the communication in general was very poor. No updates or telephone calls to discuss anything, it just felt like as it was a bad time to sell, they just wanted to wait for something to happen, therefore there was no point in calling. Staff very pleasant though.
