Excellent service from start to finish. Good advice re asking price to set, honest appraisal of prospective buyers. Lots of support during the preparation for marketing, leveraging their trade contacts to get things done quickly. Clear advice of options during the price and subsequent negotiations. Staff always friendly, very prompt responses to queries, good handover between staff so that people always knew what they were talking about. A really great experience.

Great service from agent and staff at Youngs throughout the sale of our rural/equestrian property in 2025.
We had previously listed with little success but then sold before going to market when we switched to Youngs.
The process was pretty plain sailing as far as these things go and we were given support throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to use their services in the future.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had with an estate agent. Prior to signing a contract, things were great and I had confidence in the estate agent. As soon as I had signed the contract and around 1 month in to the sale, things went downhill. My property wasn't placed on specific rural sites and when I pointed this out, I was told it would be rectified only for it not to be. When I found a sale (of much lower value than expecting), the estate agent completely disappeared. There was no aftercare/support or updates about the sale from the estate agent. I actually feel robbed of the % they received from my sale with the lack of effort/work that was actually done on their behalf. When I raised my concerns, I was given fake apologies but not given any compensation for the lack of service. As a word of warning, ensure you are aware of what they charge. I read the terms and conditions in full however, still missed that I was expected to pay for general expenses, mileage and then VAT on top of the commission. If I ever come to sell a property again, I will stay clear of Youngs RPS. 2 stars only because the property sold.

As a former estate agent of over 40 years, I have a unique insight into what makes a genuinely good estate agent. I have sold two properties through youngsRPS in Hexham this year. Both properties were sold quickly and efficiently, at above their asking prices. I chose youngsRPS due to their sound advice, expert marketing and strong regional coverage. I would highly recommend Youngs RPS - Teresa and Ciara in the residential team did a wonderful job at marketing our property and getting us tenants really quickly. They were brilliant to deal with - very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you very much!
