23rd Apr 2022 (3 years ago)I found them very ineffectual in the process with constant mistakes our house seems to have the sale going through but it was my husband that showed people around I believe by the interest that we had from day one that their estimate on the value was too low and you have to chase them for every piece of information

25th Sep 2019 (6 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL

Consistently use their initiative with formal processes. Prompt regarding compliance issues and punctual around visits. I would recommend them again and again.

1st Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Ricky and the team at Balgores Upminster have been professional, helpful, responsive, easy to deal with and great with communication, can't fault them. Got plenty of viewings and several offers within a short time frame.
19th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)The management is only after their money. They make you fix everything in the house yourself self and even worse they won't pay back your deposit.

We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza. Will be recommending her to anyone that asks!
