25th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)My situation was challenging due to my losing my first buyer, and then the solicitors in the middle of the chain causing unnecessary delays. But Petty Son kept me going all through the process and held everything together for me so I could still purchase the property I was first interested in. When it came to completion they were exceptionally kind and caring due to the challenging situation which was not any fault of theirs whatsoever. I really appreciate their help and consideration all the way through. Thank you so much to each of you individually and collectively. Highly recommended.

24th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)I dealt with several of the team at Neil King and found them all extremely professional, patient and full of good advice throughout the year-long process of listing my property, relisting it after various offers fell through, showing dozens of viewers around and dealing with a lot of back-and-forth between me, my eventual buyer and our solicitors. In the end my property went for exactly what Neil thought it was worth. So if you're looking for an agency who actually know the most up-to-date market conditions specific to South Woodford, this is the right one. I can't praise them highly enough.

15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Disappointing Experience and Lack of Clear Communication<br>I am very disappointed with my experience with this estate agent.<br>When I agreed to proceed with the property purchase, the sellers clearly confirmed that they would move out on the completion date. The estate agent also confirmed this, which gave me confidence to move forward with the purchase.<br>Based on these assurances, I paid my solicitor for the property searches. Once the search results were received, I also booked and paid for a survey, committing further time and money to the process.<br>However, at this stage, the sellers suddenly informed us that their circumstances had changed and that they could no longer confirm when they would be able to move out. This was extremely frustrating, as the original arrangement had been clearly confirmed to us.<br>I contacted the estate agent hoping they would help resolve the situation, but unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved, leaving us in a very difficult and uncertain position.<br>I understand that circumstances can change, but when buyers are given clear assurances and make financial commitments based on them, I believe better communication, more careful handling, and greater support are essential.<br>Overall, this has been a very disappointing and stressful experience. I expected a much more professional approach and better support from the estate agent throughout the process. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve how they manage expectations and communicate with buyers in similar situations.

No one showed up on either day and no one called to inform me they weren't coming. When I called to ask, I was simply told they "forgot". Complete lack of respect for the customer's time. I would not recommend this company.

I do not think, words can describe how amazing the team were.<br><br>Throughout our home-buying process, Tom and Amelia were incredibly communicative. They promptly answered calls and emails, keeping us informed about every development.<br><br>A big massive shout out to Tom, he took the time to understand our needs and preferences, making us feel like more than just prospective buyers. His personalized approach and commitment to our best interests ensured we found the perfect home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!<br><br>We were outbid as well, for our home. However, Tom worked his magic!<br><br>Gosh, we even managed to get a number of viewings before we exchanged contracts! This is was very reassuring for us.<br><br>I cannot thank enough how outstanding experience we had with Beresford, Harold Wood.<br><br>Highly recommend for first time buyers and even sellers. He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier.
