17th May 2024 (1 year ago)I purchased my first flat through KFH. They were very efficient and responsive during this process, and guided me well. However, apart from these, my experience was not at all positive. It became evident very quickly that they were working solely for the benefit of the seller. Little to none was done to take into account what would work for me, both mortgage-wise, and in terms of discussing exchange/completion dates - it was always a matter of doing what the seller wanted. There were also a few events of miscommunication/incorrect information which resulted into me losing some money. I do acknowledge that they were dealing with a particularly demanding seller, but in my opinion, what makes a good agent (or rather a good employee in general), is their ability to deal with difficult, non-trivial situations. I would not recommend KFH as a buyer.

Peter Woods managed the process and was patient, available, knowledgeable and reassuring, acting in our interests not self-interest (as has been our experience with another agency that claims to dominate in Merton Park). Peter seemed to establish a relationship of trust with the buyers and was just what you would hope for in an agent.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he consistently made us feel like a priority. What really stood out was his willingness to meet with contractors on our behalf when we weren’t available. That level of support made a huge difference and gave us real peace of mind. He kept us informed throughout the entire process and was always reassuring, professional, and proactive. Buying and selling property can be stressful, but James made the whole experience feel smooth and manageable. I first met Jess when she helped resolve an issue at a rental property above mine, and her professionalism left a lasting impression. So, when it came time to sell my flat, there was no question who I’d call. Jess handled what turned out to be a complex sale with remarkable patience, skill, and good humour. She was always available with sound advice and practical solutions, guiding the process smoothly from start to finish. Most of us will only go through a few property sales in our lives, I'd suggest you make sure yours are with someone like Jess.

29th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)My partner and I couldn’t recommend Paul, Samira and Sine at Samuel Estates more highly. We met with a number of estate agents but immediately could tell that something was different, more honest and personal when first meeting Paul. They also had comforting evidence of selling properties fast within the area. We experienced great communication throughout the process and this personal approach really helped negotiate and seek alternative options when a few unforeseen circumstances arose up and down the chain, keeping everyone calm and then pushing when they needed to. We’d definitely recommend the team at Samuel Estates to anyone in Streatham/Norbury and surrounding areas that they cover.

I've tried reaching out to you but you never answer left messages for Eric and Ezgi - UNPROFESSIONAL I understand you and some members where off sick but everytime I drove past your office I could see everyone in the office present and working just not answering my call or messages which makes it more unprofessional . I did CALL and try reach out to you and still no response i left whats app messages on two seperate occasions and two different people still no response so from my point of view I was certainly patient and went above and beyond to try get a response from you which never came until I left a review then the response came instantly My main purpose was to sell the property and whilst working with you I felt the only thing you wanted to do was rent my property out for short let's at rock bottom prices which I certainly said no too especially at the low ball figures you offered me( very low figures borderline disturbing) I'm glad I got my property sold with another agent I believe being honest and transparent is very important in this field which I believe in my opinion I didn't receive from you as an agent We all make mistakes if you owned the mistake and apolisged for ignoring me then we could have resolved this Instanly but to say people where sick when I could see them working in the office has certainly left me disappointed in my humble opinion

Sam was charming and accommodating with great communication whilst being relaxed and so efficient. So easy to work with and I felt very looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. All documentation and paperwork / online portals etc made the process completely painless. True customer service at its best. A big thank you from me.
23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this agency. Communication from their representative, Josh, was unnecessarily argumentative and lacked professionalism. Reasonable requests regarding suitable viewing times were inaccurately presented as a refusal. As a tenant, I remained cooperative, yet the tone and approach taken made the process stressful and uncomfortable. Professionalism and respectful communication should be standard practice in any property agency. However, he was lack of them. In this case, Josh clearly fell short of these standards. In contrast, my communication with Jena was professional, polite, and respectful. She arranged viewings appropriately and approached matters in a courteous manner, which made cooperation much easier. Professional and respectful communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this agency ensures consistency across its team. Update in response to the agency’s reply: I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I have retained screenshots of the communication between Joshua and myself, including responses that I found dismissive and unprofessional, such as the use of a laughing emoji when I mentioned raising a complaint. This understandably gave the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For clarity, two viewings were successfully conducted at the property with my agreement. This clearly demonstrates that I was cooperative and did not refuse access. As a working tenant, I simply requested reasonable availability within my schedule, which is entirely within my legal rights. Leaving a review on Google is also my right as a consumer when I feel my experience does not reflect the standards described in your response. Should the matter require independent review, I am comfortable referring it to The Property Ombudsman so that an impartial assessment can determine whether the communication met appropriate professional standards. I remain willing to cooperate within reasonable and respectful boundaries. However, I do not wish to continue communication with Joshua and request that future arrangements are handled by another respectful representative.
