Despite not finding a flat on this occasion due to various reasons, Jed offered lots of professional advice throughout and showed us some really great and suitable flats. We’ll definitely be in touch again when looking for our next place.
20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)I strongly advise against doing business with this estate agency.<br><br>They currently manage my mum’s property and have withheld tenant funds without any clear or lawful justification, which is deeply concerning. Additionally, they introduced a tenant who is now using the property for a rent-to-rent arrangement, despite being under an AST agreement.<br><br>The situation has escalated further, as the tenant has set up what appears to be an HMO which goes against the clauses of the AST and is now attempting to pressure my mum into covering costs (such as installing a fire door) to make the property compliant.<br><br>Communication has also been highly unprofessional and slow. Afsheen has been consistently disrespectful on the phone and has ended calls abruptly when I have tried to resolve these issues. Nyala is slow and doesn’t answer requests in a timely manner. Furthermore, there has been a refusal to provide tenant details required for us to proceed with an eviction notice, causing unnecessary delays.<br><br>Overall, my experience has been extremely negative. I would strongly caution others to think carefully before engaging with this agency.
26th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)We chose Phil and Richard at Your Move in New Cross because of their experience with EWS1 issues, and it was definitely the right decision. Our sale took nearly a year and had its challenges, but they stayed patient, proactive and kept everything moving. Communication was always clear and professional. In the end, they got it over the line and we’re really grateful for their hard work. Highly recommend. Cheers guys!
24th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)Our recent sale was a very long (3yrs) and protracted affair with one hurdle after another to overcome along the way. Throughout the process, Victoria Sotnick's help was invaluable as she went out of her way to constantly badger solicitors, buyers, estate agents and sellers (including us) to keep the whole process moving along. Her communication was exceptionally impressive as she responded to all emails/phone calls, nearly always by return, having first obtained all the information required. She is the perfect person to have on your side and I cannot recommend her more highly.

With 4 sharers moving in together there were a few hurdles to us securing the place however she worked hard to resolve them quickly and professionally to ensure we could move in by our move in date. After I had an offer accepted, Kate was amazing at keeping thing progressing through the conveyancing process and made sure to help with any sticking points which I really appreciated! However market conditions are tough with a lot of uncertainty and they were transparent with this. Initial communication on coming to the market was not great, with my main contact having to repeatedly be chased for updates. But when we got into a flow, communication improved. However first impressions count. Local market knowledge is excellent and with a smallish catchment area and good inter-office network I felt I was well represented.

When we first met, he promised he would find a buyer for my property — a former council home — and he delivered. I moved to Oaks after my previous agent failed to secure a single viewing in six weeks. Oaks arranged viewings every week. Communication was excellent throughout. They set up a WhatsApp group with me and my partner, which made everything quick, clear, and professional. The team also worked incredibly hard to ensure the sale progressed smoothly right to the end, making sure no communication was missed between the legal teams and that everything stayed on track. I would highly recommend Oaks Tulse Hill.
