1st May 2026 (8 days ago)I highly recommend Brown & Merry in Newport Pagnell, especially Lydia Wilcock, Emily Jones and the wider team, for anyone looking to sell their home. From the very beginning, when I decided to sell my house in November, Lydia and her colleagues were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They clearly understood the local market and gave excellent advice from day one. Despite the market being slower at the time, they successfully found the right buyers within two months, and from going on the market to completion, the full process took five months, which I was very pleased with. Throughout the process, the team kept me regularly updated on my property’s performance, including Rightmove interest, market conditions, and realistic advice around pricing strategy. Their guidance helped me sell my home as quickly as possible while also achieving the best price I could. They also recommended Shoosmiths for conveyancing, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation and helped make the whole process run smoothly. What really stood out was the professionalism and communication of the entire team. They were consistently proactive, informative, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for me. I’ve been so impressed that I’ve already recommended them to friends and am now using them for a second property sale as well. If you are thinking about selling your home, I would absolutely recommend Brown & Merry in Newport Pagnell. Five stars.
27th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I had my first interactions with Ellen Roberts who is new to the company, last week. Her responsiveness was excellent and a breath of fresh air. She promised to come back to me and she did without any follow up. She fully understood what we were trying to achieve . Look forward to working with Ellen going forwards and if this level of client service continues Ellen will definitely be a welcome addition to the team.
10th Aug 2020 (5 years ago)At the start the relationship was positive and friendly. A for sale board was requested but, never placed. We did not received feedback from the few viewings we had and unsure whether buyer/ viewer suitability checks were carried out - especially at these times with heightened cleaning and sanitising that needs to happen. We also received marketing letters although we were already with them and the claims on them we challenged as this was not reflecting our experiences. Communication was far for acceptable with not following up with promises to call by a certain time/ date and not responding to emails readily. To add to this they wanted us to drop the price of our property when realistically had not done enough to market it. Very disappointing and felt like we lost an amount of time with no progress.

6th May 2026 (3 days ago)If you can choose anyone to help you through the buying process, I’d HIGHLY recommend Branislav. From the beginning he has been attentive, informative and supportive in a multitude of ways. He explains everything A-Z which makes first time buyers, like myself and my partner, feel more in control and understand the process. Branislav communicates well, chases third parties for you and stands in your corner. He even called us late at night when I was asking far too many questions just to put us at ease and get a move on with things. He ensures that you get good value for money on the properties you view and in general is open and honest in all areas of property purchasing. We look forward to the rest of the journey and would thoroughly recommend Bran to anyone starting the process of getting a mortgage, or any other need - he’s more than competent, trustworthy and honest.
19th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)What are the estate agent playing at, they are now selling a 4 bed house in Elder way Ampthill for £40000 over valuation price, this is a shared ownership property only recently valued at £510,000 Are they that desperate.. And a building society or bank will have a say on this, beware as you could lose thousands of pounds

The team from Jo who values with such enthusiasm , the lovely sales team, who kept me informed after every viewing to Caroline who dealt with everything once a buyer was found are superb.
