22nd Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)The worst letting agency out there. Getting them to support the tenant with anything is like pulling teeth. We’ve been asking and filing requests for over 4 months to have Connells send one to take a look at our kitchen sink, and it still hasn’t happened. They keep passing blame around to building maintenance, to the landlord, but never actually taking any action to support the tenant. On top of that, the communication comes whenever Connells feels like it. They set response timelines which are rarely adhered to and even when they do communicate, it’s nothing of substance. Avoid at all costs!
19th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)Harry at Gregory Brown, Ashford, provided outstanding service throughout our house sale from start to finish. Any issues that arose were handled with great professionalism and dealt with promptly. While there were a few challenges along the way, none were the fault of Gregory Brown and were simply due to the chain, and Harry managed them exceptionally well. He generated a lot of interest very quickly, bringing multiple potential buyers through the door and securing several offers. Harry offered excellent advice whenever we were unsure about anything and guided us confidently through the entire process. He is extremely trustworthy and approachable, which made a stressful experience feel far more manageable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Harry to anyone looking to sell their home and needing honest guidance along the way. A big thank you from Surina & Jazz — this is an experience we’re sure Harry won’t forget anytime soon! ????

5th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)My wife and I had the pleasure of engaging Sam Tomlinson as our selling agent for our property in Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom. Before we engaged Sam, we had sought out many other realtors in the area - even some of the big national brands. Unfortunately, the majority of them were unprofessional & tardy and there were some even to point of non responsiveness and or over commitments that simply were not attainable. From the time we first engaged Sam right until to the point when we closed the sale of the house, Sam exemplified expertise and professionalism to the core. The entire selling process went so smoothly despite Sam being in Maidenhead in the UK, and my wife and I were between California and Dubai. All our meetings were professional and highly productive albeit they being virtual. Sam was extremely courteous, highly responsive and very knowledgeable and advised us every step of the way. Despite Sam having to be away for a week, all matters pertaining to the sale was handled by another colleague without any disruption to the selling process. Sam’s professional advise on the indicative selling price, to his recommendations for re painting our house to fixing the electrical fixtures all led to a quick sale of our property at our expected selling price. We sold the house within less than a month of open viewings and closed the transaction within 2 months. The amazing this was this was all accomplished in an era where house prices were dropping and interest rates skyrocketing. Therefore it gives me great pleasure in recommending Sam Tomlinson and the good folks at Braxton for any real estate services in Maidenhead. Braxtons and Sam has my utmost confidence!

He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!

From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about getting things right. Philip runs a great ship and you really feel that personal touch throughout. Emma was an absolute star at keeping everything moving and explaining things clearly, George was super approachable and helpful whenever questions popped up, and Margaret was just lovely, always calm, reassuring, and always on the ball. It really felt like a proper team effort rather than being passed around. They added touches that made our experience as sellers so effortless and easy. Buying/selling can be stressful, but they made the whole process feel smooth and human (and even enjoyable at times!). If you’re looking for an estate agent in Henley who actually takes the time to look after you, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Philip Booth and the whole team. ????

Not only was this appreciated but by the time we were home she had found answers for the majority of our questions. When trying to find a home to buy, this level of dedication was noticed and really appreciated. Sadly the property wasn't meant to be when our offer was refused but Sophia phoned to check in with us.
