Following listening to a conversation with friends about how much their property was worth I thought I would check the value of mine. I had no intention of selling it in the near future just curious. I rang several estate agents and, once I explained why I wanted to know the value they were not interested. W.H.Browns name popped up and so I called them. They were so pleasant and arranged for someone to come out at my convenience. The young man was very pleasant and polite and after doing all the relevent checks gave me a quote. He went out of his way to put me at ease as I live alone and even stayed a short while for a friendly chat. Initially good to deal with. Purchased a new home through them and found them pleasant. However, things have gone downhill after we found that the new home we purchased was not mortgageable. Have told us that they have nothing to do with the deposit we paid even though they sent the e-mail with bank details on.
