Well we are coming to the end of our 2 year rental through them. We have been paying way over average for their services but that was our choice. 15pct per month for rent collection only ! That even includes the month where they forgot to pay the rent when it was due because the person was on holiday and thought it was still Sunday ! REALLY !! Zero visits to the property in 2 years for this amount of commission as well ! WOW. Anyway we are at the end of our fixed 2 year period and we want to change agents. We still have the same tenant but unlike 90pct of other agents it turns out Terra Cotta don't have a termination option and they are above Trading Standards. Long and short of it is we will go legal now but my advice is use agents who don't think they own you. We will be selling in 18 months and these people have ruled themselves out of that selection process for sure. Extortionate fees for well below average service... Read more

Horrible experience with trying to get my deposit back (still trying to get it back to this day!). I put down the 5 week deposit for a flat that was advertised by Cavendish Cheam but had to back out due to personal circumstances. I understand that I cannot get back the 1 week holding deposit but for the rest of my money, it has not been returned yet. Daren has been claiming that I will be deposited the amount on certain days but has never followed through. It feels like I am being played at this point. Haven't officially let a property through Seymours, but based on our first impression of Seymours, having three viewings cancelled after having travelled two hours to visit Guildford, was not great. We weren't notified over text, or email (our original contact method), apparently we were called. A colleague said the lettings agent was "on their way"... after 20 minutes we called again, spoke with the lettings agent who said she previously cancelled the viewings due to the tenants not being amicable to letting us view the properties. Either way, a miserable experience of which I will not be letting with.... Read more
