6th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Avoid at all costs Horrific experience with this letting agent. They would never reply to any emails about work needing to be done. However if they needed something they would expect me to reply straight away. For months I asked if something could be done over the flooring as it was so poorly fitted and a huge trip hazard, we had a child in the house. They refused to fix the floor but tried to take my deposit to replace it once I left. The DPS obviously didn't agree to this as the flooring was in such poor condition on commencement of the tenancy. I feel sorry to whoever has moved into the property as it was in desperate need of decorating. I think the landlord had tried to do odd jobs themself but clearly wasn't very skilled. The car park was also underwater due to the biggest pothole I have ever seen. We only lived in the property for a year because we couldn't cope with the lack of communication. Our current letting agent and all previous have been amazing so we weren't expecting such a poor experience.

2nd Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)m our first contact with your office we were impressed with the professional, relaxed approach we received from Adam who attended the address to do the valuation. He was attentive and knowledgeable. We then had dealings with Beth. Again from the onset we were pleased with her calm professional attitude. As we progressed through the process we encountered a number of issues and delays. We struggled with obtaining information from our solicitors, and there were a couple of times where we considered taking the property off the market as the process was becoming too onerous. However Beth stepped up and essentially took control of things. She has a knack of calming situations and allaying our concerns. If she was asked to do something she did in a quiet efficient manner providing us with timely updates and reassurance that things would get there in the end. She was friendly and supportive but remained professional throughout our contact with her. I can honestly say that without her guidance and support we would, in all reality, have removed our property from sale preventing us from retiring to the coast.- 22nd Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)To the Oswestry team at Halls a Big Thank You for support throughout my long distance buying process. 13th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Unfortunately Halls did not live up to our expectations…over promising and under delivering proved apparent with inaccurate valuation, poor communication and we felt there was only interaction when we initiated it and although that proved helpful initially, it was short lived and the inactivity and lack of interaction continued… So very disappointed and we will now have to start the process again elsewhere…- 27th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)As the largest agent for my area I found them knowledgable
