17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

16th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Had Garnham H Bewley provide me a valuation not knowing what my house was worth after 15 years here and after some recent upgrades carried out. Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.

It really felt like we were on the house selling journey with “friends” who really cared. This continued with Tamsin who was brilliant with sales progression through to the end The whole team went above and beyond. We felt reassured and supported throughout and would definitely recommend. Totally love you all. Massive thank you for your dedication and commitment.

3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)Matt Chandler at Mansell McTaggart has recently handled a property sale for me and has been friendly, professional and helpful throughout. This was a remote sale so I was relying on the agent even more than usual for all aspects. He demonstrated sound and considered market knowledge and I felt secure accepting his advice. Neighbours who met him the property commented on the interest he showed during his appraisal and the amount of time he took to make sure he understood the property fully. I wanted a quick sale and this was achieved even with some challenging circumstances.<br>Everyone who answered the phone at Mansells did their best to help me throughout the transaction. Many thanks to the whole team.

11th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Trilogy in partnership with Burns & Webber sold me a property off plan in Godalming. They really sold me the dream. The show flat was impeccable and they talked of a really special, high quality build. Fast forward close to 8 months (on a build that I was told was 2-3 months from complete), and after more lies and missed deadlines than I can count, I finally got the keys this week. The flat is basically uninhabitable, the list of incomplete work and snags is extensive and there are genuine health and safety issues too. The finish in general is frankly poor, and not anywhere near the quality that I was promised. I have basically been homeless for the last 2 months because of the missed deadlines, and it looks like that will continue a while longer while I argue with the Developers to try to get the flat close to something that is acceptable. Just avoid Trilogy altogether is my advice. Start to finish, the experience has been dreadful.

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle.
