   I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file.    I’ve had mixed experiences with this agency. Garry seems like a genuinely nice guy, but I’ve often had to chase for replies. Emails sometimes go unanswered, and when calling about a property, my details weren’t taken, so I wasn’t sure how seriously the enquiry was being handled. A bit more responsiveness and simple confirmations of received messages would make a big difference to customer confidence. The company names Essex Prime Residential and Surrey Prime Residential also caused a bit of confusion, as they appear to be the same business. Overall, there’s potential here, but they do need to tighten up communication. If I use this agent again in the future and see improvements, I’ll happily update my review.... Read more
