   We decided to switch estate agents to William H. Brown in Wakefield after receiving very few viewings with our previous agent, and it turned out to be the right decision! Our very first viewing resulted in an offer, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, the sale later fell through, through no fault of the agents, but thankfully we managed to get things back on track and secure another buyer. We did eventually agree to a reduced price to help achieve a quicker sale, as by that point we were more than ready to move!<br>We mainly dealt with Amy and Annette, both of whom were incredibly helpful, supportive and understanding throughout the process. When our first sale fell through, I must admit I went to pieces a little (or perhaps a lot!). We were quite far along in the process, had sold most of our belongings and packed up much of the rest, so the thought of starting all over again was overwhelming. Amy and Annette were very understanding and reassuring during what was a particularly stressful time.<br>I did feel that I was chasing for updates occasionally, although, in fairness, this was probably more down to my own eagerness to get everything moving than anything else. Once you've mentally moved house, packed half your life into boxes and are desperate to get out of there, patience isn't exactly your strongest virtue!<br>Overall, we were very happy with the service and would happily recommend Amy, Annette and the team at William H. Brown in Wakefield. I'm not planning on selling again anytime soon (once was enough for my nerves!), but I will be turning to them to help us find our next property. Hopefully, they'll be just as good at helping us buy our new home as they were at helping us sell our old one! Thank you team... Read more

   Simon Blyth really is a case study in how Estate Agency should be done, everything in our experience was delivered courteously and efficiently during our recent sale through the Kirkburton office and purchase through Penistone, so I can vouch for how great at least two offices are!<br>Grace Wharton was exceptional in dealing with all matters from the original listing process, viewings and then the more taxing aspects of managing the chain for contract exchange and completion. This is what separates a good agent from an exceptional one and Grace certainly earned her stripes with the heavy lifting that was unfortunately much needed with these aspects.<br>I have to mention as well that the professional photography was worth every penny and the quality of the images really showed the property at its best, which I am sure contributed to the massive number of views on Rightmove, the long list of viewings booked for the Bank Holiday weekend as it went live, and ultimately the second viewers offering the asking price.    BE CAREFUL IF YOU OR YOUR NEIGHBOUR USES PAISLEY PROPERTIES - They posted a photo of our vehicle with the registration clearly visible, it appeared on the listing for a neighbouring property. It was published on their website and social media. Our vehicle was parked on our private property, not visible from the roadside and accessed via a privately owned driveway. The photo featured along with our complete address details. We had to ask several times for it to be removed, we complained in writing and their response was that they would not communicate with us about this issue.No acknowledgment of their error, no explanation as to how it had occurred and no apology. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional and this was the business owner.... Read more

   Only one viewing throughout the marketing period, we didn’t feel they pushed the property at all, we did a large reduction within the marketing time and received no feedback from the office even though it was promised, our point of contact switched half way through but nobody told us or introduced themselves, when we advised we were taking it off the market nobody made notes/acknowledged or followed it through, we had to chase when the property would be off the market and board removed and the office didn’t know what we were talking about, boards still here over 3 wks after it was removed from market....
