She did a fantastic job accompanying us at each stage of the process: visits, offer, negotiation and solicitors. Shash was able to offer expert advice on the properties we were considering, the market in general, and provided a wealth of experience on refurbishment and property improvements, which made our final decision much easier. Once we had found the best home for us, she facilitated the entire negotiation and purchase process, resolving queries and concerns right through until completion. Throughout she always conducted herself with empathy, transparency and the highest standards of integrity. We could not have asked for more!

30th May 2025 (9 mo. ago)Property in Hastings was an estate sale, rendered challenging by the fact that I live five hours’ drive away. However, Stuart and Emma were exceptionally helpful and nothing was a problem - exactly the kind of “can do” attitude that is becoming increasingly rare these days. Thanks are thus due to the pair for dealing with what has not been a straightforward sale.

They were communicative, got viewings in quickly (we had been on the market with another agent for a while and had no viewings for a long time), and gave feedback promptly. We sold our house within two weeks of being on the market with them. Once we had the offer, they kept in touch on a regular basis and formed a useful link between us and our buyers which kept things running smoothly. They even supported us in getting some issues with our onward purchase ironed out too. I don’t think I would use another agent now. Thank you Just Property!

He answered my questions without that dreaded sentence “I don’t know” which can be so irritating. So refreshing, a professional attitude with a happy and friendly approach.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
26th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)In a very slow market last year we finally sold our house and mark and the team went on and above to get the sale very professional and the best estate agents in the area but trust in them , in the end after a tough market they held strong and this is what you need . 23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this agency. Communication from their representative, Josh, was unnecessarily argumentative and lacked professionalism. Reasonable requests regarding suitable viewing times were inaccurately presented as a refusal. As a tenant, I remained cooperative, yet the tone and approach taken made the process stressful and uncomfortable. Professionalism and respectful communication should be standard practice in any property agency. However, he was lack of them. In this case, Josh clearly fell short of these standards. In contrast, my communication with Jena was professional, polite, and respectful. She arranged viewings appropriately and approached matters in a courteous manner, which made cooperation much easier. Professional and respectful communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this agency ensures consistency across its team. Update in response to the agency’s reply: I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I have retained screenshots of the communication between Joshua and myself, including responses that I found dismissive and unprofessional, such as the use of a laughing emoji when I mentioned raising a complaint. This understandably gave the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For clarity, two viewings were successfully conducted at the property with my agreement. This clearly demonstrates that I was cooperative and did not refuse access. As a working tenant, I simply requested reasonable availability within my schedule, which is entirely within my legal rights. Leaving a review on Google is also my right as a consumer when I feel my experience does not reflect the standards described in your response. Should the matter require independent review, I am comfortable referring it to The Property Ombudsman so that an impartial assessment can determine whether the communication met appropriate professional standards. I remain willing to cooperate within reasonable and respectful boundaries. However, I do not wish to continue communication with Joshua and request that future arrangements are handled by another respectful representative.
