The whole process was smooth and we were kept informed of progress throughout. James in particular was excellent nothing was too much and made us feel at ease through the whole process. I would highly recommend them when it come to selling property

Our transaction was part of a particularly complex chain, and we had more than a few unexpected challenges along the way. Throughout the process, Peter went above and beyond to keep everything on track. His communication was clear, timely, and proactive, something that made a real difference when situations became uncertain. What stood out most was his persistence and problem solving approach. Rather than simple updates he worked to resolve issues and liaising between all parties. It felt like he genuinely cared about achieving the best outcome for all of us. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is reliable, responsive, and truly committed to seeing a sale through, even in challenging situations, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this estate agency, and Peter Gold, in particular, who is a real asset and someone you want on your side when dealing with a complex property transaction.

I decided to sell with them for this reason, and also because they did not immediately start trying to sell me financial products, which I always find off-putting. Vanessa McCallum Estates obviously care very much about the community they serve, and they worked hard to find a lovely family to buy my property. A friendly and professional service throughout. I wish the team every success as they totally deserve it.

27th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)Highly Recommended ?This is the second time we’ve used Morgan Alexander—the first being 10 years ago—and they are just as excellent now as they were then. ?On this occasion they handled the sale of our property, they were absolutely pivotal in making our entire move happen. We faced some particularly complex issues during the process, and the Westley was instrumental in holding the chain together. MA didn't just manage the sale; they proactively smoothed out complications and ensured we finally got across the line. ?If you want an agent who stays involved and genuinely cares about the outcome, I can’t recommend them enough. Consistent, professional, and highly effective.

What was an extremely stressful situation was made significantly easier by our experience with Kings Group, and in particular Rosy O’Brien. Rosy was professional, efficient, and consistently supportive throughout the process. Beyond that, she brought a genuinely human approach to what could easily have been an impersonal transaction, taking the time to understand our situation and act with care and consideration. 5th May 2026 (3 days ago)????? We should have called Alex and Jane first. Here's why ?????? Selling our detached family home in Harlow (£700k–£800k range) was a long and frustrating journey until it wasn't. We interviewed over 10 agents before appointing Fortune & Coates. Glossy brochure, compelling pitch but after months on the market, no offers, pressure to reduce and persuaded us to sign with them by asserting that they could achieve a higher sale price for our home. We switched to Douglas Allen. Same story. More months, no offers and mounting pressure to drop significantly. We were deflated and questioning everything ?????? Then we found Durden & Hunt and everything changed for us ?????? Alex was exceptional from the start. Knowledgeable, personable and refreshingly honest. He asked brilliant questions, listened carefully and gave us a clear-eyed read of the market with no spin whatsoever. Alex explained that the strategies used by our previous agents were ineffective and crucially, he told us why. The optimal approach he advised is to list slightly below market value to generate strong interest and competitive demand allowing the market to determine true worth organically. He also cautioned that overpricing a property stifles interest and can lead buyers to question whether something is wrong. ?????? His assessment proved to be exactly right. He has stayed in close contact and continued offering genuine advice on our next property purchase something he has absolutely no obligation to do. In an industry where attention disappears once contracts are exchanged, that level of care is extraordinarily rare and deeply appreciated. Jane Lewis is quite simply, a rare gem ?????? Exceptionally knowledgeable, wonderfully warm and so genuinely kind. She qualifies every opportunity meticulously, ensuring only serious buyers came through our door. Her approach, her manner and her dedication are things you have to experience to truly appreciate. Words don't do her justice ?????? We listed early October. Less than four weeks later we had multiple offers. By early November it was agreed at the price we had originally hoped for ? Looking back, the lesson is clear?????? An overvaluation might feel flattering but it's a trap. It stalls momentum, erodes buyer confidence and costs you time and potentially money that you can't get back. Alex and Jane didn't tell us what we wanted to hear. They told us what we needed to hear and that honesty is exactly what sold our home at the price we always believed it deserved ?????? If you're in the Harlow or Epping area and serious about selling, please learn from our experience. Don't make the tour of the market that we did before finding the right answer. Go to Durden & Hunt first and ask for Alex and Jane. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and everyone. You will be in the very best of hands ?????? Five stars doesn't feel like enough. If Google allowed 10 stars, they would have them without hesitation. Thank you, Alex. Thank you, Jane ?? ? ??????

One more college i would like to thank to is Victoria Faulkner she was amazing in more then words can describe!! I would recommend target to any family or anyone that is looking for a house or a property they are the most amazing staff i have worked with I am truly great full for these two amazing people Thank you again to Victoria Faulkner & Kai Davies the best service i have ever got from a letting agency
14th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)We haven't had to go through the nightmare of moving house for over forty years but we survived the emotional roller coaster this time round thanks to Stanton Hockett. Not easy for two eighty year olds I must admit who simply want to go live near their daughter up north! We approached the move with trepidation but their approach from the outset was totally re-assuring and empathetic. Tom started the ball rolling with his no fuss approach and we then graduated to the big guns, Brad & Gavin, after they found us a young couple to buy our treasured family home. They might have been a dating agency so suited to us were our young buyers. As apparently often occurs our journey through the legal processes to exchange and completion took us between peaks of elation to valleys of frustrated despair and back again but they were there to support us when we needed it. Thank you Tom and Lewis, thank you Gavin and most of all thank you Brad for your impeccable service to us in the sales progression stage. We are on our way now and feeling a whole lot better about our future.

10th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)We had a number of issues from the start. This generally involved factual errors e.g. wrong valuation stated in communication, wrong name. Whether one particular viewing happened was dubious as we had feedback from one member of the team but another said they couldn’t access the property (we had a key safe and the code was changed). We eventually moved estate agents to a smaller one who sold the property quickly. It then transpired that the buyer had seen the property through WH Brown some time ago (the potential buyer had asked for certain information that had not been obtained weeks later - having spoken to a member of staff, it was clear they were asking the wrong people for an answer - management company instead of landlord). We were then contacted to say that WH Brown would be completing the sale - this annoyed me as they had been poor thus far and I was concerned they would mess up again. The new estate agent who had sold it was happy to finish the sale though they would only receive 25% of the commission compared to the 75% for WH Brown.
