Difficult market and everyone sitting tight and so the effort from Victoria and her team to sell our house was even more appreciated. From the first meeting with Victoria to the day we handed the keys over we couldn’t have asked for more.<br>Super professional and kept us informed with every step of the way.<br>Wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again and throughly recommend the team to anyone wishing to sell their property in Newbury and the surrounding area. They were always available to answer my questions and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the process ran smoothly. What truly stood out was their commitment to my needs and preferences. They have earned my trust and gratitude.- 24th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)I arranged a valuation to be done and two agents came out, one seemed very pleasant and nice however the other who wasn’t planned to do the viewing was rude obnoxious and showed very little interest in the property and made me feel as if I had wasted their time. This was a shame as the original estate agent had seemed genuinely nice and professional however did very little talking and was overpowered by the other estate agent. Overall compared to the experience from other estate agents on the same level I was extremely disappointed and upset by the whole experience.

3rd Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I would not recommend Purplebricks services. I paid for a hosted viewings package as I was unable to conduct viewings myself. The first viewing was booked and confirmed by the hosted viewings team however the team failed to turn up to show the potential buyer the property, as a result they could not view the property. After I made a complaint I received an Armenia response form the hosted viewings team denying it was their fault. It also seems that out of spite the hosted viewings package was deactivated on my account, without my permission or request and unbeknown to me. A second viewing was booked which again, the hosted viewings team did not turn up to. Purplebricks effectively seemed to be trying their best to block the sale of my property by not allowing people to access my property. They could not provide a sufficient answer as to why they failed to turn up twice and I lost all confidence that they could sell my flat and as a result I took it off the market. The complaints process took several weeks to deal with my complaint and an initial offer of a £225 refund was an insult given that I paid £1499 for the package (hosted viewings listed as £899). A second and final offer saw a refund of £625, which is still no where near enough to pay me back for their failure to comply with the contract and the inconvenience I experienced given they significantly delayed the sale of my property.

They provide weekly check-ins where they check you've completed everything and chase the solicitors where needed. From offer to completion was 6-8 weeks which was incredible. Chanelle was so thorough and conscientious. Very happy with their service.
