The service provided by Lisa, Joanne & Tanya has been dealt with in a very professional, efficient and friendly manner. I can’t praise the staff enough as they exceeded our expectations. They provided us with a very reliable service and always returned our telephone calls and replies to my emails in a timely manner.<br>Selling my home was made easy by these ladies and they took away my stress. They only introduce serious buyers and not time wasters.<br>We would definitely use Douglas & Allen for any future house sales or purchases in the future. 24th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)I had a disappointing experience dealing with this agency regarding a commercial unit at The Embassy in Waltham Cross. We entered into active negotiations, made a formal offer, and progressed discussions in good faith, only to be informed mid-process that the unit had already been let to someone else. This was done without any clear communication or opportunity to proceed, despite being in ongoing discussions. It reflects a lack of transparency and professionalism in how the process was handled. Following this, we were offered an alternative unit at a higher asking price, which did not reflect the condition of the space (shell condition requiring full fit-out). Overall, the experience felt poorly managed and not respectful of the time and effort invested during the negotiation process. I would advise others to proceed with caution.

From start to finish his knowledge of the market and the process meant we were always informed and up to speed with what was happening. Steve went over and above always updating us, quite often ahead of our solicitors. I was extremely pleased with the support Helen provided me with the sale of my bungalow and she gave me good advice throughout the process. She was calm, determined and professional. Helen organised the staging and photography of the property to maximise all its potential. The property had many viewings and Helen followed up all viewings to ensure everyone had appreciated its unique features. I was kept fully informed of feedback from buyers. Despite my chain failing twice she remained supportive and encouraging. Even when Helen went on holiday she kept in touch with me making sure l was always fully informed on how things were proceeding. She liaised with the other estate agents to ensure good progress was made by all parties. In the final weeks she kept me calm and reassured. I have no hesitation in recommending Elite Homes.

We had an unusual Grade 2 listed building to sell and we had tried several other agents but nobody matched the amount of viewings that Shepherds provided. Therefore we had confidence that they would eventually get us a sale - and they did! A big thank you to Adam and the team, in particular Nathaniel and Ava - always friendly, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Shepherds to give your property the care and attention it needs to get the right people through the door.
